Standard Reserved Bay

Attending the first ever AFLW game was special, even though mum and I only decided to go on the day of the game! It's amazing how the sport has grown, and what it has grown into. Amazing to see how much more it will grow!

My son and I met Nathan Buckley back in 2004 at a family day when my son was 5 years old. After lining up for a much anticipated photo with Bucks, as we got to the front of the very long line, my son got scared and started crying and didn't want the photo. Bucks picked him up, talked to him, made him feel safe, walked over to other players and took photos. From that day on, Bucks was our hero and we see that pic everyday.

I only started following AFL a few years ago, but this season was the one where I decided I couldn't miss a single Collingwood game. My partner and I became Standard Members, and it's been one of the best decisions we've made. One of my most memorable moments was the SP433 game. It felt like the entire stadium was filled with Collingwood supporters, and being one of so many passionate fans was an incredible feeling... I knew it was a moment I wanted to remember forever, so I made sure to pick up the SP433 commemorative badge and scarf. Every time I see them, they remind me of the day I truly felt like I became part of the Magpie Army.
