The 2026 E. W. Copeland Trophy will be held on Friday 2 October at Crown Palladium.
To accommodate the significant Member interest in attending our night of nights, the Club will once again conduct a Member ballot for the opportunity to purchase tickets.
The ballot structure will give priority access to our loyal 50+ year Members, who have stuck Side by Side with the Club for half a century or more.
Ballot eligibility and details for 2026 Members is as follows*:
Round 1
- Eligible Members: 50+ year Members who hold an 1892 or Legends membership
- Registrations open: 10am (AEST) on Monday 17 August
- Registrations close: 4pm (AEST) on Tuesday 18 August
Round 2
- Eligible Members: all other 50+ year Members
- Registrations open: 10am (AEST) on Wednesday 19 August
- Registrations close: 4pm (AEST) on Friday 21 August
Round 3
- Eligible Members: all other 1892 & Legends Member
- Registrations open: 10am (AEST) on Wednesday 26 August
- Registrations close: 4pm (AEST) on Thurs 27 August
*Members must be 18 or older to enter the ballot.
MEMBER LIVE STREAM
The 2026 E. W. Copeland Trophy will be broadcast live and free on the Collingwood website.
The winners announced throughout the evening will also be shared across the Club's digital media channels.

HOW TO ENTER
- Eligible Members can complete the Round 3 ballot registration form here.
- Duplicate entries and ineligible registrations will be removed.
- No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incoherent entries will be invalid.
- There is no cost involved in entering the ballot.
TICKETING
- The price of a 2026 E. W. Copeland Trophy ticket is $395.00 (inc. GST).
- A ticket includes:
- E.W. Copeland Trophy awards ceremony
- VFL Best and Fairest
- Three course dining experience
- Premium wines, beer and soft drinks
SUCCESSFUL ENTRANTS
- Successful entrants will be invited to purchase up to two (2) tickets to the 2026
E. W. Copeland Trophy.
- The Collingwood FC membership team will call successful entrants to finalise their booking and process payment. Failing a phone call, an email will be sent.
- Payment must be processed in full using a credit or debit card. Cheques, money orders, cash and BPAY payments will not be accepted for these tickets. Unpaid tickets will be released back to the available pool.
- Successful entrants will have 48 hours from the initial email to call the Club and make payment. Failing return contact from a successful entrant, the ticket(s) held in their name will be re-balloted to previously unsuccessful members.
- The results of the draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the ballot.
CANCELLATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Should a member or members who were successful in the ballot be unable to complete their purchase, tickets will be added back to the available pool.
- The ballot will continue until all tickets are exhausted.
- All cancellation requests for paid tickets must be received by 4:00pm (AEST) on Friday 11 September 2026. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests receive after this date.
