Terms and Conditions

2018 Collingwood Football Club (Club) memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions which include the Club's Privacy Policy.

Upfront and monthly payment plan memberships are subject to automatic roll over each year unless members opt out by the notified deadline. See clause 7.2 for further details and terms.

1. Purchase of a membership

  • If you are successful in your membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 5 business days. Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued within 10 business days from 1 December, 2017. Members who join during the season will receive a membership card (or game entry ticket) prior to the next home game.
  • The Club reserves its right not to accept any membership application form in its absolute discretion.
  • All membership categories are subject to availability.

2. Term of Membership

  • Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club membership from receipt of your membership payment to 31 October 2018.

3. Membership Categories

All 2018 AFL Club Members will receive the following entitlements:

  • Personalised membership card
  • Lanyard
  • Bumper sticker
  • 2018 Member Scarf (excluding AFL Club Support and MCC Magpie Insiders)
  • Access to a Member Cap (if payment is made towards the membership prior to January 31, 2018)
  • Weekly email video report
  • Two editions of 'In Black & White' magazine; one copy of the pre-season and one copy of the end of season edition (members who sign up after the distribution of the pre-season edition will receive the end of season edition only)
  • Member pricing on Club merchandise
  • Reserved Seat or General Admission access (membership dependent) to all home and away games that Collingwood participates in at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

Home and Away game Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • Reserved Seat or General Admission access (membership dependent) to all home & away games that Collingwood participates in at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

Home game Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • General admission access to two Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium and reserved seat access to ANZAC Day at the MCG in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

3-game ANZAC Day Blockbuster Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • Reserved seat access to two predetermined Collingwood home games at the MCG and reserved seat access to ANZAC Day at the MCG in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

Country Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • General admission access to five Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

Interstate Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • Reserved seat access to an interstate game in your state of residence and general admission access to five Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season
  • Due to limited allocation of tickets, WA residents are not guaranteed a reserved seat. See sections 3.2.7 & 3.2.7.1 for full details.

International Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • General admission access to three Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

MCC Etihad Stadium Reserved Seat Upgrade Members will receive the following game entitlements:

  • Reserved seat access to all home and away games that Collingwood play at Etihad Stadium in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season

3.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions

3.1.2 General Admission membership categories

  • General Admission access to games is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and you are encouraged to reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand games. Members will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability.
  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State and Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club membership website. Except for any rights that members may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to its membership terms and conditions. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting.

3.2.1 Family

  • Family memberships are available for two adults and up to two juniors (under the age of 15 as of 1 January 2018).

3.2.2 Junior

  • To be eligible for a Junior membership, the applicant must be 5 years of age or more and under the age of 15 as at 1 January 2018. Children aged under four at 1 January 2018 are entitled to attend games without a Club membership, however they must not occupy a seat. Junior member accounts that do not have a date of birth will not have their membership pack sent until the date of birth is confirmed to the Club.

3.2.3 Student

  • Student concession is available to people studying full-time in 2018. Your membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2018 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2018 enrollment form from your education institution.

3.2.4 Pensioner

  • Pensioner concession is available to people holding a 2018 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2018 football season.

3.2.5 Companion card holders

  • Anyone holding a Government issued Companion Card is entitled to one complimentary membership for their carer.
  • Once you have purchased your membership, you are required to send through proof of your Companion Card and the Club will then issue you with a complimentary membership in the same membership category as the one you have purchased to allow your carer access to the games when caring for you.

3.2.6 Country

  • Club members living in excess of 120km from the Holden Centre are eligible for Country membership. When applying for or renewing a country membership, you will need to supply a proof of residency (for example, a copy of your rates notice or a utilities bill) to verify your address. PO Box addresses will not be accepted without supporting documentation.

3.2.7 Western Australia (WA) Residents

  • Members who hold a Club 5, Legends, MCG Legends or Captains membership registered to a WA address will be given the opportunity to purchase a guaranteed reserved seat ticket to Collingwood’s WA Game in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season.
  • All other members with a WA address will be given the opportunity to register for a ballot to purchase a reserved seat ticket.

3.2.7.1 WA Ballot Terms & Conditions

  • Given the restricted number of tickets available to Collingwood’s game in WA, a ballot will decide the allocation of tickets to members who do not have guaranteed access.
  • All information regarding the ballot will be communicated via email only.
  • The ballot is only open to eligible members who are WA residents and possess a valid credit/debit card.
  • To enter the ballot, members must register their interest online by a specific date. This date will be confirmed by the Club once the 2018 fixture has been released. The Club will email eligible members prior to this date.
  • You can register for the ballot once only.
  • Entry to the ballot does not guarantee that you will be allocated tickets. There is a strict limit of one (1) ticket per eligible member.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, no responsibility is accepted by the Club for registrations which are lost, corrupted, and incomplete or for any failure to provide required information.
  • The winners of the ballot will be selected by the Club at random. Such selection is final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
  • Members who are successfully selected in the ballot will be notified by the Club via email and must purchase tickets to the game via their My Magpies Account.
  • All ticket purchases are subject to Ticketmaster's terms and conditions.
  • Unsuccessful applicants will receive a notification by the Club via email.
  • It is the responsibility of the member to check their email and to notify the Club of any change to their contact details.
  • Successful applicants are required to purchase their tickets by a specific date. This date will be confirmed by the Club via email to eligible members. Any member who does not purchase their ticket by then will forfeit all rights to purchase these tickets.
  • Entry to the ballot indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Club reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the ballot at any time (and for any reason) without notice.

3.3 Interstate Ticketing (excluding WA members)

  • Members eligible for interstate ticketing include members with an interstate membership in SA, QLD, NSW, ACT, and members with a Social Club or higher membership category living in that state.
  • All correspondence regarding interstate ticketing will be sent via email
  • Tickets must be selected via the My Magpies Account seating map
  • It is the member’s responsibility to allocate and print their own ticket 24 hours prior to the game
  • If two games are scheduled in the state in one season, the member will be offered a ticket to their game of choice. If the member does not select a game, they will default to the second fixture game.

3.4 Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series entitlements

  • Each member's access to the Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series games will be determined in accordance with their respective membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will communicate information relating to members' access to Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series games in late August 2018 should the Club be participating in the Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series.
  • Payment of your Club membership fees may be made in one of the following ways:
  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, BPay, Australia Post Billpay, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.
  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at the MCG or Etihad Stadium. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2017 AFL fixture has been released. Tickets are not available for mobile scanning.
  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to the MCG and Etihad Stadium on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the game.
  • Seating areas at the MCG and Etihad Stadiums are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue.
  • 2017 members who wish to retain their current reserved seat in 2018 must ensure that their membership payment has been completed no later than 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 22 November, 2017. This can be done online, via telephone or in person at the Holden Centre.
  • If you are a renewing member and wish to change your seat/upgrade your membership, you may do so from Monday 27 November, 2017 once all unsold seats have been released for sale. You must be a financial member to request a reserved seat change.
  • The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating preference will be able to be accommodated.
  • If you are adding a new member you will be contacted to confirm which seating is available.
  • If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be submitted together by email, post or delivered personally to the Club. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together.
  • All change/upgrade and new seat requests are to be submitted via MyMagpies Account and are subject to availability. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.
  • New seat requests are processed in order of date received. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at the time of processing.
  • Members wishing to apply for new seats can do so via their MyMagpies Account. Simply login using your Member ID and Password and select the seat you want from the Interactive Seat Map.
  • If your preferred seat is not available you will need to wait until Monday 5 December, 2017 at which time you will be able to review any unallocated seat/s through the Interactive Seating Map.

4. Transfer of Membership Card Entitlements

  • Club members may transfer their membership entitlements (or tickets) to a family member or a friend providing that the family member or friend is at the equivalent level of entry and meets any eligibility requirements specified in these terms and conditions. If a Concession or Junior member transfers a membership entitlement or ticket to an adult, the adult will be refused entry and will have the membership card or ticket confiscated at the gates. The ticket will not be returned to the member and a replacement fee (to be advised by the Club) will apply for the issue of a new membership card.

5. No Onselling

  • Club membership cards and Legends Bay tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be on sold (including via on-line auction or re-sale sites) or used for advertising, promotion, fundraising or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is on sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member's Club membership without a refund).

6. MCC and AFL Member Upgrades

6.1 AFL Members

  • AFL Members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfilment and finals access. AFL Members who have nominated the Club as their club of support may purchase a Club reserved seat membership upgrade.

6.2 MCC Members

  • MCC members may purchase a club upgrade via the Collingwood Football Club or Melbourne Cricket Club.

7. Payment

  • Payment of your Club membership fees may be made in one of the following ways:

7.1 Full Payment

  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, BPay, Australia Post Billpay, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.

7.2 Payment Plan

  • The Roll Over enables you to automatically roll over your membership from year to year. Collingwood’s Roll Over is open to all members who elect to pay membership fees by credit or debit card.
  • If you pay your membership fees by credit or debit card, unless you elect to opt out of Roll Over in accordance with directions issued by the Club from time to time, you authorise the Club to automatically renew your membership each season into the same seat (if applicable) and package (or a reasonably comparable package) and to deduct the applicable membership fees from the credit or debit card used to purchase your previous membership.
  • You acknowledge that membership fees may increase from season to season. The Club will provide reasonable prior notice of any changes to membership fees.
  • If you participate in the Roll Over, the Club will contact you prior to processing any renewal. You will have 14 calendar days from the date of the Club’s notice to advise the Club of any changes or upgrades you wish to make to your membership package, or to notify the Club in writing if you do not wish to roll over your membership into the next season. Strict timeframes apply. If you do not notify the Club that you do not wish to roll over your membership during this period, you will be taken to have agreed to your membership being rolled over on the terms and conditions specified.
  • The Upfront Payment Plan payment will be deducted in one instalment on 21 October each year via a nominated VISA, MasterCard or American Express cards. American Express payments incur 2.75% surcharge. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Upfront Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The 2018 instalment will be withdrawn on 21 October 2017. If payment fails to transfer between institutions on 21 October 2017, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • Members applying for the Upfront Payment Plan after the scheduled payment (21 October 2017) will have their payment deducted upon applying.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Your 2018 membership will not be confirmed until payment has been processed. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season’s membership prior to the payment being deducted and details of the membership package and terms and conditions.
  • To opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan prior to the payment being deducted, a request must be received by the Club by 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 17 October, 2017. This can be done by signing and returning the authorisation notice issued by the Club or online by visiting membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/renew and logging into the member’s MyMagpies account. If the Club has not received an authorisation notice or online instruction specifying that you wish to opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan, then you are deemed to have agreed to purchase a 2018 membership. Your rolled over membership cannot be cancelled under clause 13 unless you provide sufficient evidence to the Club's satisfaction by 31 December 2017 that you did not receive notice of the opt out option and membership fees for the 2018 membership, in which case, the Club will cancel your membership and refund your membership fees.

7.2.1 Upfront Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

7.2.2 Monthly Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

  • The Monthly Payment Plan payments will be deducted in instalments on the 21st of each month, beginning from 21 October each year via a nominated VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. American Express payments incur a 2.75% surcharge. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The first instalment will be withdrawn on 21 October 2017, with further payments on the 21st of each following month, or the next business day if the 21st falls on a weekend. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 21st, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • On the 21st of each month all outstanding/overdue payments will be attempted to be deducted.
  • For members who apply for the Monthly Payment Plan after the first scheduled payment (21 October 2017) their monthly scheduled payments will reflect their total payments due divided equally over the remaining payment months (the final payment month is September 2018)
  • Members with outstanding debt from previous years will be able to renew their membership for 2018, however the outstanding money owing will be attempted to be deducted with the first instalment. Until all outstanding money owing is paid, you will not receive your membership pack.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if on two consecutive occasions your payment is dishonoured by your financial institution. You will be notified if we suspend or cancel your membership and your barcode will be blocked for games until the membership payments are brought up to date. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your membership once payment is received. Members affected will have their seat returned for resale at each game and if their payments are brought up to account on game day, will be issued with a different seat for that game.
  • If your membership is suspended or cancelled, all membership benefits including access to Collingwood games, Collingwood functions, Social Club and Legend Lounge Access and access to purchase Finals tickets through the members presale will be suspended.
  • We refer any outstanding balances throughout the season to our collections agency for recovery. This may involve additional costs that you could be responsible for.
  • Each month, all outstanding payments will be attempted to be deducted from your nominated credit card or debit card.
  • If you believe that a payment has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan you will automatically be included into an auto renewal agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your membership from year to year until you opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan on these terms and conditions unless varied.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season's membership and the amount of your monthly deduction prior to the first payment being deducted.
  • To opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan after the first payment has been deducted, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. However you must complete all outstanding payments in full.

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

  • To opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan prior to the first payment being deducted, a request must be received by the Club by 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 17 October, 2017. This can be done by completing, signing and returning the authorisation notice issued by the Club or online by visiting membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/renew and logging into the member’s MyMagpies account. If the Club has not received an authorisation notice or online instruction specifying that you wish to opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan, then you are deemed to have agreed to purchase a 2018 membership. Your rolled over membership cannot be cancelled under clause 13 unless you provide sufficient evidence to the Club's satisfaction by 31 December 2017 that you did not receive notice of the opt out option and membership fees for the 2018 membership, in which case, the Club will cancel your membership and refund any amounts deducted.

8. Reserved Seat Return Program

  • Members who are eligible for the Reserved Seat Return Program will be notified when it becomes active.
  • By returning your seat for resale through the Club's Reserved Seat Return Program, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the below Terms and Conditions of the program in addition to the membership terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the below terms and conditions apply.
  • The Reserved Seat Return Program applies to members who hold a reserved seat at the MCG for Collingwood Home games as part of their membership package. This excludes members who have access to the Legends Bays.
  • You may give up your rights to access and use your seat at any home game that has not been played by using one of the following methods:
  • Seats cannot be returned by emailing the Club membership email address.
  • Once you return your seat for any game by completing one of the methods set out above, it cannot be retrieved or accessed for use by you for that game. You may attempt to purchase it through Ticketek when it becomes available for on sale.
  • Return credits are awarded only if the returned seat is successfully on-sold by Ticketek for any game. There is no guarantee that a returned seat will be on-sold.
  • You agree and acknowledge that:
    • your returned seat will be available for sale on the usual terms and conditions and pricing that applies at the time of sale of tickets for the relevant game;
    • the resale of your returned seat is not guaranteed and the Club and Ticketek are not responsible for ensuring the resale of your seat;
    • you cannot specify any price at which or any terms or conditions on which the seat will be resold; and,
    • you will not attempt to retrieve or access your returned seat.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), the Club shall in no circumstances be liable to you for any indirect or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your participation in the Reserved Seat Return Program, including (without limitation) from the resale or failure to resell your seat.
  • Credit earned on seats successfully resold may only be redeemed on the following season's membership renewal and is not transferable.
  • Seat return credits are not refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  • If your seat is successfully sold, the credit will be allocated to your MyMagpies Account within seven (7) working days after the completion of the game for which the seat was resold and you will be advised by email. If you do not have a valid email listed with the Club you will be required to contact the Club to request this information.
  • Credits are only awarded for seats that are resold through nominated Ticketek outlets or Ticketek.com.au. Tickets sold or purchased for any seat through any other forum are not eligible for seat return credit.
  • Total seat return credits will be calculated and automatically credited to membership accounts at the completion of the home and away season; the total credit amount will appear on the following year’s membership renewal invoice.
  • Full list of credits applicable for the 2018 season are:
  • The Club decision on issuance of seat return credits will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Any member that is financially non-compliant for the 2018 season will be unable to return their seat for resale.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to change any of the above terms and conditions by making them available on the Club's website at membership.collingwoodfc.com.au. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting for any seats returned by a Reserved Seat member after the date of posting.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to terminate the Reserved Seat Return Program at any time. Credits will be awarded to reserved seat members for all seats returned prior to the date of termination, in accordance with these terms.

9. Member Cap

  • A Member Cap is available to all adult, concession and junior members who join prior to the cut-off date ("eligible members").
  • Eligible members must join before 31 January 2018 after which time the Member Cap may no longer be available.
  • Eligible members who are part of an automatic renewal agreement from 2017 will automatically receive access to a Member Cap if they are financially compliant at 31 January, 2018.
  • Member Caps are subject to availability and once sold out, will no longer be available.
  • Members who have multiple memberships per account only get access to one Member Cap.

10. Member Scarf

  • The 2018 Member Scarf will be given to all members (excluding AFL Club Support and MCC Magpie Insiders) and is based on each member’s consecutive years of financial membership. Members can query their years of membership by contacting the Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours, however the final decision is at the discretion of the Membership Strategy Manager.
  • If a member disputes their consecutive years of membership, a statutory declaration must be signed and provided to the Club if the disputed years is greater than five years from what the Club has on record.
  • If a member disputes their years of consecutive membership to be in excess of 50 years, the member is required to attend a meeting with the Membership Strategy Manager.

11. GST and Levies

  • Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.

12. Refund Policy

  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, once a membership has been purchased, memberships are non-refundable.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, there will be no refunds available if you wish to terminate your membership prior to the end of your agreement on 10 October, 2018.

13. Cancellation Policy

  • Club memberships are valid from the date of joining until 10 October, 2018.
  • By becoming a member of the Club, you agree to this period of membership.
  • In exceptional circumstances, if a member wishes to cancel their membership, the Club will advise the member to submit a written request to Membership Services via email to membership@collingwoodfc.com.au or post to PO Box 165, Abbotsford VIC 3067 for consideration at its discretion.
  • If the fulfilment items have been sent prior to the request for cancellation, the membership product will not be cancelled or refunded, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
  • The Club reserves the right to cancel or suspend a Club membership without refund of any member that breaches any of the terms and conditions of membership (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits). Any membership cancelled by the Club will result in consecutive years of membership being ceased.
  • The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Club membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits).

14. Club Member Conduct

  • It is a condition of membership that you comply with the Collingwood Member Code of Conduct at all times while attending any Collingwood event, function or game. The Member Code of Conduct can be accessed via this link: xxx or by calling 1300 62 47 43.
  • Any failure to comply with the Member Code of Conduct may result in the immediate suspension or cancellation of your membership at Collingwood’s discretion.
  • You will not be entitled to any refund if your membership is suspended or cancelled in these circumstances.

15. Changes to Club membership Terms and Conditions

  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club membership website or email. Except for any rights they may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club membership.

16. General Venue Rules

  • Club members must adhere to all rules, policy and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club member including providing their bags for inspection and allowing physical security checks. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on game day.

17. Membership Cards & Tickets

  • Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club's Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours and the Club will then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision of a police report or statutory declaration detailing the theft.

17.1 Membership Cards

  1. Delivery – Your Club membership card is personalised. Membership cards will be mailed out as soon as practicable after your application and applicable payment has been processed.
  2. Lost Cards – If you lose your membership card you will be required to present a signed original statutory declaration to the Club. A membership card replacement fee of $25 will be charged.
  3. Forgotten Cards – the Club can provide you with a replacement ticket on the day for a cost of $10. If you have lost your membership card you will be required to pay the $25 replacement fee.

17.2 Print your own tickets (also known as the TicketFast system)

  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at the MCG or Etihad Stadium. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2017 AFL fixture has been released. Tickets are not available for mobile scanning.

17.3 Seat forwarding

  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to the MCG and Etihad Stadium on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the game.

18. Voting Rights

  • All members over 18 years of age who hold a Club 5, Legends, MCG Legends, Captains or Social Club Upgrade membership are eligible to vote at the Club's Annual General Meeting.

19. Members' Privacy

  • The Club respects your privacy. All personal information we collect about you and individuals whose information you provide to the Club, such as family members, will be used and disclosed by the Club and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with our Privacy Policy which you agree when you sign up as a Club member. You agree you are authorised to provide the information you give us about others. We may use personal information for promotional and direct marketing purposes and other uses and disclosures as specified in our Privacy Policy which is available at www.collingwoodfc.com.au/privacy or at the front desk of the Holden Centre or by calling 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. Your personal information is kept securely and treated confidentially. Although you may choose to not to provide us with your information or to only provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice will affect the type and quality of service we provide to you, the processing of your membership and it may also result in delays. Our Privacy Policy explains how to request access to or correction of the personal information the Club holds about you, how to opt out of receiving direct marketing, how to make a privacy complaint and how the Club handles complaints.

20. Telephone and Internet Renewals

  • Members may renew their Club membership over the telephone or online. By renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of Club membership (as amended by the Club from time to time).


21.1 Renewing members

  • Seating areas at the MCG and Etihad Stadiums are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue.
  • 2017 members who wish to retain their current reserved seat in 2018 must ensure that their membership payment has been completed no later than 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 22 November, 2017. This can be done online, via telephone or in person at the Holden Centre.

21.2 Change/Upgrade Application

  • If you are a renewing member and wish to change your seat/upgrade your membership, you may do so from Monday 27 November, 2017 once all unsold seats have been released for sale. You must be a financial member to request a reserved seat change.

21.3 Seating preferences

  • The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating preference will be able to be accommodated.

21.4 New members

  • If you are adding a new member you will be contacted to confirm which seating is available.

21.5 Group Seat Requests

  • If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be submitted together by email, post or delivered personally to the Club. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together.

21.6 Request processing

  • All change/upgrade and new seat requests are to be submitted via MyMagpies Account and are subject to availability. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible
  • New seat requests are processed in order of date received. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at the time of processing.
  • Members wishing to apply for new seats can do so via their MyMagpies Account. Simply login using your Member ID and Password and select the seat you want from the Interactive Seat Map.
  • If your preferred seat is not available you will need to wait until Monday 5 December, 2017 at which time you will be able to review any unallocated seat/s through the Interactive Seating Map.

22. Bring a friend for FREE offer

  • Upon the release of the 2018 AFL Fixture, the Club will confirm selected games in which members can bring a friend for free. Full terms of the offer are listed below:
  • The free ticket will be a general admission ticket. General admission entry is subject to capacity.
  • The ticket cannot be upgraded to a reserved seat or access any of the Club reserved seating areas.
  • Members will receive one redemption ticket with their membership pack. Lost/misplaced tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Members can only use their free ticket for one of the nominated games.

22. Seat Transfers

Due to the club’s wait-list for reserved seating, membership transfers at the MCG or Etihad Stadium are only permitted if the member on the receiving end of the transfer accepts and purchases all seats made available by the vacating members.

Transfer requests will be processed within 7-10 working days of receipt by the club.

Please note that membership history, as recorded in years of service, does not transfer with the seat(s).

24. Collingwood Foundation Donations

All donations of $2.00 and above to the Collingwood Foundation are fully tax deductible in Australia.

Receipts of donations are generated at month-end starting 31 October, 2017, and will be emailed to you if you have made a donation to the Collingwood Foundation.

25. Membership promotions

  • The Club has the ability to introduce new promotions and offers to members. Any member who has purchased membership prior to these offers will not be able to request a refund for membership or have the promotion apply to their membership.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts having jurisdiction there.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including without limitation the Australian Consumer Law) the Club shall in no circumstance be liable to you for any direct or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your purchase of or participation in Club membership, including without limitation from the loss or suspension of your membership card or your ability to attend all or any Collingwood games or enter a venue where a Collingwood game is occurring, except to the extent the loss is caused by the Club's breach of these terms and conditions, its negligence or wilful default.

26. General disclaimers

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts having jurisdiction there.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including without limitation the Australian Consumer Law) the Club shall in no circumstance be liable to you for any direct or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your purchase of or participation in Club membership, including without limitation from the loss or suspension of your membership card or your ability to attend all or any Collingwood games or enter a venue where a Collingwood game is occurring, except to the extent the loss is caused by the Club's breach of these terms and conditions, its negligence or wilful default.

1. Purchase of a membership

  • If you are successful in your membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 5 business days. Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued within 10 business days from 1 December, 2017. 3.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions

3.1.2 General Admission membership categories

  • General Admission access to games is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and you are encouraged to reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand games. Members will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability.
  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State and Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club membership website. Except for any rights that members may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to its membership terms and conditions. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting.

3.2.1 Family

  • Family memberships are available for two adults and up to two juniors (under the age of 15 as of 1 January 2018).

3.2.2 Junior

  • To be eligible for a Junior membership, the applicant must be 5 years of age or more and under the age of 15 as at 1 January 2018. Children aged under four at 1 January 2018 are entitled to attend games without a Club membership, however they must not occupy a seat. Junior member accounts that do not have a date of birth will not have their membership pack sent until the date of birth is confirmed to the Club.

3.2.3 Student

  • Student concession is available to people studying full-time in 2018. Your membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2018 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2018 enrollment form from your education institution.

3.2.4 Pensioner

  • Pensioner concession is available to people holding a 2018 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2018 football season.

3.2.5 Companion card holders

  • Anyone holding a Government issued Companion Card is entitled to one complimentary membership for their carer.
  • Once you have purchased your membership, you are required to send through proof of your Companion Card and the Club will then issue you with a complimentary membership in the same membership category as the one you have purchased to allow your carer access to the games when caring for you.

3.2.6 Country

  • Club members living in excess of 120km from the Holden Centre are eligible for Country membership. When applying for or renewing a country membership, you will need to supply a proof of residency (for example, a copy of your rates notice or a utilities bill) to verify your address. PO Box addresses will not be accepted without supporting documentation.

3.2.7 Western Australia (WA) Residents

  • Members who hold a Club 5, Legends, MCG Legends or Captains membership registered to a WA address will be given the opportunity to purchase a guaranteed reserved seat ticket to Collingwood’s WA Game in the 2018 AFL Premiership Season.
  • All other members with a WA address will be given the opportunity to register for a ballot to purchase a reserved seat ticket.

3.2.7.1 WA Ballot Terms & Conditions

  • Given the restricted number of tickets available to Collingwood’s game in WA, a ballot will decide the allocation of tickets to members who do not have guaranteed access.
  • All information regarding the ballot will be communicated via email only.
  • The ballot is only open to eligible members who are WA residents and possess a valid credit/debit card.
  • To enter the ballot, members must register their interest online by a specific date. This date will be confirmed by the Club once the 2018 fixture has been released. The Club will email eligible members prior to this date.
  • You can register for the ballot once only.
  • Entry to the ballot does not guarantee that you will be allocated tickets. There is a strict limit of one (1) ticket per eligible member.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, no responsibility is accepted by the Club for registrations which are lost, corrupted, and incomplete or for any failure to provide required information.
  • The winners of the ballot will be selected by the Club at random. Such selection is final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
  • Members who are successfully selected in the ballot will be notified by the Club via email and must purchase tickets to the game via their My Magpies Account.
  • All ticket purchases are subject to Ticketmaster's terms and conditions.
  • Unsuccessful applicants will receive a notification by the Club via email.
  • It is the responsibility of the member to check their email and to notify the Club of any change to their contact details.
  • Successful applicants are required to purchase their tickets by a specific date. This date will be confirmed by the Club via email to eligible members. Any member who does not purchase their ticket by then will forfeit all rights to purchase these tickets.
  • Entry to the ballot indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Club reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the ballot at any time (and for any reason) without notice.

3.3 Interstate Ticketing (excluding WA members)

  • Members eligible for interstate ticketing include members with an interstate membership in SA, QLD, NSW, ACT, and members with a Social Club or higher membership category living in that state.
  • All correspondence regarding interstate ticketing will be sent via email
  • Tickets must be selected via the My Magpies Account seating map
  • It is the member’s responsibility to allocate and print their own ticket 24 hours prior to the game
  • If two games are scheduled in the state in one season, the member will be offered a ticket to their game of choice. If the member does not select a game, they will default to the second fixture game.

3.4 Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series entitlements

  • Each member's access to the Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series games will be determined in accordance with their respective membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will communicate information relating to members' access to Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series games in late August 2018 should the Club be participating in the Toyota AFL 2018 Finals Series.
  • Payment of your Club membership fees may be made in one of the following ways:
  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, BPay, Australia Post Billpay, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.
  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at the MCG or Etihad Stadium. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2018 AFL fixture has been released. Tickets are not available for mobile scanning.
  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to the MCG and Etihad Stadium on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the game.
  • Seating areas at the MCG and Etihad Stadiums are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue.
  • 2017 members who wish to retain their current reserved seat in 2018 must ensure that their membership payment has been completed no later than 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 22 November, 2017. This can be done online, via telephone or in person at the Holden Centre.
  • If you are a renewing member and wish to change your seat/upgrade your membership, you may do so from Monday 27 November, 2017 once all unsold seats have been released for sale. You must be a financial member to request a reserved seat change.
  • The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating preference will be able to be accommodated.
  • If you are adding a new member you will be contacted to confirm which seating is available.
  • If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be submitted together by email, post or delivered personally to the Club. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together.
  • All change/upgrade and new seat requests are to be submitted via MyMagpies Account and are subject to availability. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.
  • New seat requests are processed in order of date received. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at the time of processing.
  • Members wishing to apply for new seats can do so via their MyMagpies Account. Simply login using your Member ID and Password and select the seat you want from the Interactive Seat Map.
  • If your preferred seat is not available you will need to wait until Monday 5 December, 2017 at which time you will be able to review any unallocated seat/s through the Interactive Seating Map.

4. Transfer of Membership Card Entitlements

  • Club members may transfer their membership entitlements (or tickets) to a family member or a friend providing that the family member or friend is at the equivalent level of entry and meets any eligibility requirements specified in these terms and conditions. If a Concession or Junior member transfers a membership entitlement or ticket to an adult, the adult will be refused entry and will have the membership card or ticket confiscated at the gates. The ticket will not be returned to the member and a replacement fee (to be advised by the Club) will apply for the issue of a new membership card.

5. No Onselling

  • Club membership cards and Legends Bay tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be on sold (including via on-line auction or re-sale sites) or used for advertising, promotion, fundraising or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is on sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member's Club membership without a refund).

6. MCC and AFL Member Upgrades

6.1 AFL Members

  • AFL Members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfilment and finals access. AFL Members who have nominated the Club as their club of support may purchase a Club reserved seat membership upgrade.

6.2 MCC Members

  • MCC members may purchase a club upgrade via the Collingwood Football Club or Melbourne Cricket Club.

7. Payment

  • Payment of your Club membership fees may be made in one of the following ways:

7.1 Full Payment

  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, BPay, Australia Post Billpay, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.

7.2 Payment Plan

  • The Roll Over enables you to automatically roll over your membership from year to year. Collingwood’s Roll Over is open to all members who elect to pay membership fees by credit or debit card.
  • If you pay your membership fees by credit or debit card, unless you elect to opt out of Roll Over in accordance with directions issued by the Club from time to time, you authorise the Club to automatically renew your membership each season into the same seat (if applicable) and package (or a reasonably comparable package) and to deduct the applicable membership fees from the credit or debit card used to purchase your previous membership.
  • You acknowledge that membership fees may increase from season to season. The Club will provide reasonable prior notice of any changes to membership fees.
  • If you participate in the Roll Over, the Club will contact you prior to processing any renewal. You will have 14 calendar days from the date of the Club’s notice to advise the Club of any changes or upgrades you wish to make to your membership package, or to notify the Club in writing if you do not wish to roll over your membership into the next season. Strict timeframes apply. If you do not notify the Club that you do not wish to roll over your membership during this period, you will be taken to have agreed to your membership being rolled over on the terms and conditions specified.
  • The Upfront Payment Plan payment will be deducted in one instalment on 21 October each year via a nominated VISA, MasterCard or American Express cards. American Express payments incur 2.75% surcharge. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Upfront Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The 2018 instalment will be withdrawn on 21 October 2017. If payment fails to transfer between institutions on 21 October 2017, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • Members applying for the Upfront Payment Plan after the scheduled payment (21 October 2017) will have their payment deducted upon applying.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Your 2018 membership will not be confirmed until payment has been processed. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season’s membership prior to the payment being deducted and details of the membership package and terms and conditions.
  • To opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan prior to the payment being deducted, a request must be received by the Club by 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 17 October, 2017. This can be done by signing and returning the authorisation notice issued by the Club or online by visiting membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/renew and logging into the member’s MyMagpies account. If the Club has not received an authorisation notice or online instruction specifying that you wish to opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan, then you are deemed to have agreed to purchase a 2018 membership. Your rolled over membership cannot be cancelled under clause 13 unless you provide sufficient evidence to the Club's satisfaction by 31 December 2017 that you did not receive notice of the opt out option and membership fees for the 2018 membership, in which case, the Club will cancel your membership and refund your membership fees.

7.2.1 Upfront Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

7.2.2 Monthly Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

  • The Monthly Payment Plan payments will be deducted in instalments on the 21st of each month, beginning from 21 October each year via a nominated VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. American Express payments incur a 2.75% surcharge. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The first instalment will be withdrawn on 21 October 2017, with further payments on the 21st of each following month, or the next business day if the 21st falls on a weekend. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 21st, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • On the 21st of each month all outstanding/overdue payments will be attempted to be deducted.
  • For members who apply for the Monthly Payment Plan after the first scheduled payment (21 October 2017) their monthly scheduled payments will reflect their total payments due divided equally over the remaining payment months (the final payment month is September 2018)
  • Members with outstanding debt from previous years will be able to renew their membership for 2018, however the outstanding money owing will be attempted to be deducted with the first instalment. Until all outstanding money owing is paid, you will not receive your membership pack.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if on two consecutive occasions your payment is dishonoured by your financial institution. You will be notified if we suspend or cancel your membership and your barcode will be blocked for games until the membership payments are brought up to date. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your membership once payment is received. Members affected will have their seat returned for resale at each game and if their payments are brought up to account on game day, will be issued with a different seat for that game.
  • If your membership is suspended or cancelled, all membership benefits including access to Collingwood games, Collingwood functions, Social Club and Legend Lounge Access and access to purchase Finals tickets through the members presale will be suspended.
  • We refer any outstanding balances throughout the season to our collections agency for recovery. This may involve additional costs that you could be responsible for.
  • Each month, all outstanding payments will be attempted to be deducted from your nominated credit card or debit card.
  • If you believe that a payment has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan you will automatically be included into an auto renewal agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your membership from year to year until you opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan on these terms and conditions unless varied.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season's membership and the amount of your monthly deduction prior to the first payment being deducted.
  • To opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan after the first payment has been deducted, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. However you must complete all outstanding payments in full.

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

  • To opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan prior to the first payment being deducted, a request must be received by the Club by 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 17 October, 2017. 8. Reserved Seat Return Program

  • Members who are eligible for the Reserved Seat Return Program will be notified when it becomes active.
  • By returning your seat for resale through the Club's Reserved Seat Return Program, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the below Terms and Conditions of the program in addition to the membership terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the below terms and conditions apply.
  • The Reserved Seat Return Program applies to members who hold a reserved seat at the MCG for Collingwood Home games as part of their membership package. This excludes members who have access to the Legends Bays.
  • You may give up your rights to access and use your seat at any home game that has not been played by using one of the following methods:
  • Seats cannot be returned by emailing the Club membership email address.
  • Once you return your seat for any game by completing one of the methods set out above, it cannot be retrieved or accessed for use by you for that game. You may attempt to purchase it through Ticketek when it becomes available for on sale.
  • Return credits are awarded only if the returned seat is successfully on-sold by Ticketek for any game. There is no guarantee that a returned seat will be on-sold.
  • You agree and acknowledge that:
    • your returned seat will be available for sale on the usual terms and conditions and pricing that applies at the time of sale of tickets for the relevant game;
    • the resale of your returned seat is not guaranteed and the Club and Ticketek are not responsible for ensuring the resale of your seat;
    • you cannot specify any price at which or any terms or conditions on which the seat will be resold; and,
    • you will not attempt to retrieve or access your returned seat.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), the Club shall in no circumstances be liable to you for any indirect or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your participation in the Reserved Seat Return Program, including (without limitation) from the resale or failure to resell your seat.
  • Credit earned on seats successfully resold may only be redeemed on the following season's membership renewal and is not transferable.
  • Seat return credits are not refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  • If your seat is successfully sold, the credit will be allocated to your MyMagpies Account within seven (7) working days after the completion of the game for which the seat was resold and you will be advised by email. If you do not have a valid email listed with the Club you will be required to contact the Club to request this information.
  • Credits are only awarded for seats that are resold through nominated Ticketek outlets or Ticketek.com.au. Tickets sold or purchased for any seat through any other forum are not eligible for seat return credit.
  • Total seat return credits will be calculated and automatically credited to membership accounts at the completion of the home and away season; the total credit amount will appear on the following year’s membership renewal invoice.
  • Full list of credits applicable for the 2018 season are:
  • The Club decision on issuance of seat return credits will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Any member that is financially non-compliant for the 2018 season will be unable to return their seat for resale.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to change any of the above terms and conditions by making them available on the Club's website at membership.collingwoodfc.com.au. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting for any seats returned by a Reserved Seat member after the date of posting.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to terminate the Reserved Seat Return Program at any time. Credits will be awarded to reserved seat members for all seats returned prior to the date of termination, in accordance with these terms.

9. Member Cap

  • A Member Cap is available to all adult, concession and junior members who join prior to the cut-off date ("eligible members").
  • Eligible members must join before 31 January 2018 after which time the Member Cap may no longer be available.
  • Eligible members who are part of an automatic renewal agreement from 2017 will automatically receive access to a Member Cap if they are financially compliant at 31 January, 2018.
  • Member Caps are subject to availability and once sold out, will no longer be available.
  • Members who have multiple memberships per account only get access to one Member Cap.

10. Member Scarf

  • The 2018 Member Scarf will be given to all members (excluding AFL Club Support and MCC Magpie Insiders) and is based on each member’s consecutive years of financial membership. Members can query their years of membership by contacting the Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours, however the final decision is at the discretion of the Membership Strategy Manager.
  • If a member disputes their consecutive years of membership, a statutory declaration must be signed and provided to the Club if the disputed years is greater than five years from what the Club has on record.
  • If a member disputes their years of consecutive membership to be in excess of 50 years, the member is required to attend a meeting with the Membership Strategy Manager.

11. GST and Levies

  • Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.

12. Refund Policy

  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, once a membership has been purchased, memberships are non-refundable.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, there will be no refunds available if you wish to terminate your membership prior to the end of your agreement on 10 October, 2018.

13. Cancellation Policy

  • Club memberships are valid from the date of joining until 10 October, 2018.
  • By becoming a member of the Club, you agree to this period of membership.
  • In exceptional circumstances, if a member wishes to cancel their membership, the Club will advise the member to submit a written request to Membership Services via email to membership@collingwoodfc.com.au or post to PO Box 165, Abbotsford VIC 3067 for consideration at its discretion.
  • If the fulfilment items have been sent prior to the request for cancellation, the membership product will not be cancelled or refunded, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
  • The Club reserves the right to cancel or suspend a Club membership without refund of any member that breaches any of the terms and conditions of membership (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits). Any membership cancelled by the Club will result in consecutive years of membership being ceased.
  • The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Club membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits).

14. Club Member Conduct

  • It is a condition of membership that you comply with the Collingwood Member Code of Conduct at all times while attending any Collingwood event, function or game. The Member Code of Conduct can be accessed by calling 1300 62 47 43.
  • Any failure to comply with the Member Code of Conduct may result in the immediate suspension or cancellation of your membership at Collingwood’s discretion.
  • You will not be entitled to any refund if your membership is suspended or cancelled in these circumstances.

15. Changes to Club membership Terms and Conditions

  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club membership website or email. Except for any rights they may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club membership.

16. General Venue Rules

  • Club members must adhere to all rules, policy and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club member including providing their bags for inspection and allowing physical security checks. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on game day.

17. Membership Cards & Tickets

  • Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club's Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours and the Club will then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision of a police report or statutory declaration detailing the theft.

17.1 Membership Cards

  1. Delivery – Your Club membership card is personalised. Membership cards will be mailed out as soon as practicable after your application and applicable payment has been processed.
  2. Lost Cards – If you lose your membership card you will be required to present a signed original statutory declaration to the Club. A membership card replacement fee of $25 will be charged.
  3. Forgotten Cards – the Club can provide you with a replacement ticket on the day for a cost of $10. If you have lost your membership card you will be required to pay the $25 replacement fee.

17.2 Print your own tickets (also known as the TicketFast system)

  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at the MCG or Etihad Stadium. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2017 AFL fixture has been released. 17.3 Seat forwarding

  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to the MCG and Etihad Stadium on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the game.

18. Voting Rights

  • All members over 18 years of age who hold a Club 5, Legends, MCG Legends, Captains or Social Club Upgrade membership are eligible to vote at the Club's Annual General Meeting.

19. Members' Privacy

  • The Club respects your privacy. All personal information we collect about you and individuals whose information you provide to the Club, such as family members, will be used and disclosed by the Club and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with our Privacy Policy which you agree when you sign up as a Club member. You agree you are authorised to provide the information you give us about others. We may use personal information for promotional and direct marketing purposes and other uses and disclosures as specified in our Privacy Policy which is available at www.collingwoodfc.com.au/privacy or at the front desk of the Holden Centre or by calling 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. Your personal information is kept securely and treated confidentially. Although you may choose to not to provide us with your information or to only provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice will affect the type and quality of service we provide to you, the processing of your membership and it may also result in delays. Our Privacy Policy explains how to request access to or correction of the personal information the Club holds about you, how to opt out of receiving direct marketing, how to make a privacy complaint and how the Club handles complaints.

20. Telephone and Internet Renewals

  • Members may renew their Club membership over the telephone or online. By renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of Club membership (as amended by the Club from time to time).

21.1 Renewing members

  • Seating areas at the MCG and Etihad Stadiums are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue.
  • 2017 members who wish to retain their current reserved seat in 2018 must ensure that their membership payment has been completed no later than 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 22 November, 2017. This can be done online, via telephone or in person at the Holden Centre.

21.2 Change/Upgrade Application

22. Bring a friend for FREE offer

  • Upon the release of the 2018 AFL Fixture, the Club will confirm selected games in which members can bring a friend for free. Full terms of the offer are listed below:
  • The free ticket will be a general admission ticket. General admission entry is subject to capacity.
  • The ticket cannot be upgraded to a reserved seat or access any of the Club reserved seating areas.
  • Members will receive one redemption ticket with their membership pack. Lost/misplaced tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Members can only use their free ticket for one of the nominated games.

22. Seat Transfers

Due to the club’s wait-list for reserved seating, membership transfers at the MCG or Etihad Stadium are only permitted if the member on the receiving end of the transfer accepts and purchases all seats made available by the vacating members.

Documentation must be posted to PO Box 165, Abbotsford VIC 3067 (addressed to the Membership Department), or emailed to the club at membership@collingwoodfc.com.au.

Transfer requests will be processed within 7-10 working days of receipt by the club.

Please note that membership history, as recorded in years of service, does not transfer with the seat(s).

24. Collingwood Foundation Donations

All donations of $2.00 and above to the Collingwood Foundation are fully tax deductible in Australia.

Receipts of donations are generated at month-end starting 31 October, 2017, and will be emailed to you if you have made a donation to the Collingwood Foundation.

25. Membership promotions

  • The Club has the ability to introduce new promotions and offers to members. Any member who has purchased membership prior to these offers will not be able to request a refund for membership or have the promotion apply to their membership.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts having jurisdiction there.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including without limitation the Australian Consumer Law) the Club shall in no circumstance be liable to you for any direct or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your purchase of or participation in Club membership, including without limitation from the loss or suspension of your membership card or your ability to attend all or any Collingwood games or enter a venue where a Collingwood game is occurring, except to the extent the loss is caused by the Club's breach of these terms and conditions, its negligence or wilful default.

26. General disclaimers

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts having jurisdiction there.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including without limitation the Australian Consumer Law) the Club shall in no circumstance be liable to you for any direct or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your purchase of or participation in Club membership, including without limitation from the loss or suspension of your membership card or your ability to attend all or any Collingwood games or enter a venue where a Collingwood game is occurring, except to the extent the loss is caused by the Club's breach of these terms and conditions, its negligence or wilful default.

2018 Collingwood Magpies Netball team (Club) memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions which include the Club's Privacy Policy.

Upfront and monthly payment plan memberships are subject to automatic roll over each year unless members opt out by the notified deadline. See clause 6.2 for further details and terms.

1. Purchase of a membership

  • If you are successful in your membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 5 business days. Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued within 10 business days from 5 December, 2018. Members who join during the season will receive a membership card (or match entry ticket) prior to the next home game.
  • The Club reserves its right not to accept any membership application form in its absolute discretion.
  • All membership categories are subject to availability.

2. Term of Membership

  • Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club membership from receipt of your membership payment to 31 October 2018.

3. Membership Categories

3.1 Club Membership Categories and Entitlements

  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State and Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club membership website. Except for any rights they may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to its membership terms and conditions. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting.
  • General Admission access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and you are encouraged to reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Members will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability.

3.1.4.3 Tassie Add-On

  • Available only to persons who hold a 2018 Magpies Netball membership.
  • Access to special Tasmania member-only events while the Magpies Netball team is in Tasmania

3.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions

3.2.1 Family

  • Family memberships are available for two adults and up to two juniors (under the age of 15 as of 1 January 2018).

3.2.2 Junior

  • To be eligible for a Junior membership, the applicant must be 5 years of age or more and under the age of 15 as at 1 January 2018. Children aged under four at 1 January 2018 are entitled to attend matches without a Club membership, however they must not occupy a seat.

3.2.3 Student

  • Student concession is available to people studying full-time in 2018. Your membership application form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2018 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2018 enrolment form from your education institution.

3.2.4 Pensioner

  • Pensioner concession is available to people holding a 2018 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your membership application form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2018 SSN season.

3.2.5 Companion card holders

  • Anyone holding a Government issued Companion Card is entitled to one complimentary membership for their carer.
  • Once you have purchased your membership, you are required to send through proof of your Companion Card and the Club will then issue you with a complimentary membership in the same membership category as the one you have purchased to allow your carer access to the games when caring for you.

3.3 SSN Finals Series entitlements

  • Each member's access to the SSN Finals Series matches will be determined in accordance with their respective membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will communicate information relating to members' access to SSN Finals Series matches in July 2018 should the Club be participating in the SSN Finals Series.
  • Payment of your Club membership fee may be made in one of the following ways:
  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.
  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2018 SSN fixture has been released. Tickets are not available for mobile scanning.
  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the match.
  • Home games not played at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena: You acknowledge that the Club may, in its sole discretion, play any game scheduled by the SSN to be played at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena, at another venue including a venue which is the home ground of another SSN Club. The Club may, at its absolute discretion, provide some compensation for any benefits foregone in these circumstances.
  • Seating areas at Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Area are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue.
  • The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating preference will be able to be accommodated.
  • If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be submitted together by email, post or delivered personally to the Club. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together.
  • All change/upgrade and new seat requests are to be submitted via MyMagpies Account and are subject to availability. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.
  • New seat requests are processed in order of date received. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at the time of processing.
  • Members wishing to apply for new seats can do so via their MyMagpies Account. Simply login using your Member ID and Password and select the seat you want from the Interactive Seat Map.
  • If your preferred seat is not available you will need to wait until Monday 5 December, 2017 at which time you will be able to review any unallocated seat/s through the Interactive Seating Map.

4. Transfer of Membership Card Entitlements

  • Club members may transfer their membership entitlements (or tickets) to a family member or friend providing that the family member or friend is at the equivalent level of entry. If a Concession or Junior member transfers a membership entitlement or ticket to an adult, the adult will be refused entry and will have the membership card or ticket confiscated at the gates. The ticket will not be returned to the member and a replacement fee (to be advised by the Club) will apply for the issue of a new membership card.

5. No Onselling

  • Club membership cards may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be on sold (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion, fundraising or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is on sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member's Club membership without a refund).

6. Payment

  • Payment of your Club membership fee may be made in one of the following ways:

6.1 Full Payment

  • Your full membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.

6.2 Payment Plan

6.2.1 Upfront Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

  • The Upfront Payment Plan payment will be deducted in one instalment on each year via a nominated VISA or MasterCard card. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Upfront Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The 2018 instalment will be withdrawn on 21 November, 2017. If payment fails to transfer between institutions, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • Members applying for the Upfront Payment Plan after the scheduled payment will have their payment deducted upon applying.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Your 2018 membership will not be confirmed until payment has been processed. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • By joining the Upfront Payment Plan you will automatically be included into an auto renewal agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your membership from year to year until you opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season’s membership prior to the payment being deducted.
  • You may opt out of the Upfront Payment Plan prior to the next annual Upfront payment being deducted by following the procedure in the updated terms and conditions and communicated to you by the Club
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ written notice of any changes to the terms and conditions of the Upfront Payment Plan.

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

6.2.2 Monthly Payment Plan and Automatic Rollover

  • The Monthly Payment Plan payments will be deducted in instalments on the 21st of each month, beginning from 21 November each year via a nominated VISA or MasterCard card. Other forms of credit or debit cards will not be accepted.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan, you authorise the Club to debit from your nominated credit card or debit card in amounts as advised.
  • The first instalment will be withdrawn on 21 November 2017, with further payments on the 21st of each following month, or the next business day if the 21st falls on a weekend. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 21st, further attempts will be made to clear the funds until successfully processed.
  • On the 21st of each month all outstanding/overdue payments will be attempted to be deducted.
  • For members who apply for the Monthly Payment Plan after the first scheduled payment (21 November 2017) will have a payment or payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule. After this point payments will continue at each specified date (21st of each month).
  • It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • If your payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, you will receive notification requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you. It is your responsibility to ensure all contact details are correct at all times and to update them if they change.
  • The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if on two consecutive occasions your payment is dishonoured by your financial institution. You will be notified if we suspend or cancel your membership and your barcode will be blocked for games until the membership payments are brought up to date. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your membership once payment is received. Members affected will have their seat returned for resale at each game and if their payments are brought up to account on game day, will be issued with a different seat for that game.
  • If your membership is suspended or cancelled, all membership benefits including access to Collingwood games, Collingwood functions and access to purchase SSN Finals tickets through the members presale will be suspended.
  • We refer any outstanding balances throughout the season to our collections agency for recovery. This may involve additional costs that you could be responsible for.
  • Each month, all outstanding payments will be attempted to be deducted from your nominated credit card or debit card.
  • If you believe that a payment has been initiated incorrectly, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours.
  • By joining the Monthly Payment Plan you will automatically be included into an auto renewal agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your membership from year to year until you opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan on these terms and conditions unless varied.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of your next season's membership and the amount of your monthly deduction prior to the first payment being deducted.
  • To opt out of the Monthly Payment Plan after the first payment has been deducted, contact our Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. However you must complete all outstanding payments in full.
  • The Club will provide you with 14 days’ notice of any changes to the terms and conditions of the Monthly Payment Plan.

(a) The account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change.

(b) You have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.

7. Reserved Seat Return Program

  • Members who are eligible for the Reserved Seat Return Program will be notified when it becomes active.
  • By returning your seat for resale through the Club's Reserved Seat Return Program, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the below Terms and Conditions of the program in addition to the membership terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the below terms and conditions apply.
  • The Reserved Seat Return Program applies to members who hold a reserved seat at Hisense Arena for Collingwood Netball Home games as part of their membership package.
  • You may give up your rights to access and use your seat at any Home game that has not been played by using one of the following methods:
  • Seats cannot be returned by emailing the Club membership email address.
  • Once you return your seat for any game by completing one of the methods set out above, it cannot be retrieved or accessed for use by you for that game.
  • Return credits are awarded only if the returned seat is successfully on-sold by Ticketek for any game. There is no guarantee that a returned seat will be on-sold.
  • You agree and acknowledge that:
    • your returned seat will be available for sale on the usual terms and conditions and pricing that applies at the time of sale of tickets for the relevant game;
    • the resale of your returned seat is not guaranteed and the Club and Ticketek are not responsible for ensuring the resale of your seat;
    • you cannot specify any price at which or any terms or conditions on which the seat will be resold; and,
    • you will not attempt to retrieve or access your returned seat.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), the Club shall in no circumstances be liable to you for any indirect or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your participation in the Reserved Seat Return Program, including (without limitation) from the resale or failure to resell your seat.
  • Credit earned on seats successfully resold may only be redeemed on the following season's membership renewal and is not transferable.
  • Seat return credits are not refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  • If your seat is successfully sold, the credit will be allocated to your MyMagpies Account within seven (7) working days after the completion of the game for which the seat was resold and you will be advised by email. If you do not have a valid email listed with the Club you will be required to contact the club to request this information.
  • Credits are only awarded for seats that are resold through nominated Ticketek outlets or Ticketek.com.au. Tickets sold or purchased for any seat through any other forum are not eligible for seat return credit.
  • Total seat return credits will be calculated and automatically credited to membership accounts at the completion of the home and away season; the total credit amount will appear on the following year’s membership renewal invoice.
  • Full list of credits applicable for the 2018 season are:
  • The Club decision on issuance of seat return credits will be final and cannot be contested.
  • Any member that is financially non-compliant for the 2018 season will be unable to return their seat for resale.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to change any of the above terms and conditions by making them available on the Club's website at magpiesnetball.com.au. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting for any seats returned by a Reserved Seat member after the date of posting.
  • The Club reserves the right (subject to applicable State or Territory laws and the Australian Consumer Law) to terminate the Reserved Seat Return Program at any time. Credits will be awarded to reserved seat members for all seats returned prior to the date of termination, in accordance with these terms.

8. GST and Levies

  • Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.

9. Refund Policy

  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, once a membership has been purchased, memberships are non-refundable.
  • Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, there will be no refunds available if you wish to terminate your membership prior to the end of your agreement on 30 June, 2018.

10. Cancellation Policy

  • Club memberships are valid from the date of joining until 30 June 2018.
  • By becoming a member of the Club, you agree to this term of membership.
  • In exceptional circumstances, if a member wishes to cancel their membership, the Club will advise the member to submit a written request to Membership Services via email to membership@collingwoodfc.com.au or post to PO Box 165, Abbotsford VIC 3067 for consideration at its discretion.
  • If the fulfilment items have been sent prior to the request for cancellation, the membership product will not be cancelled or refunded, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
  • The Club reserves the right to cancel or suspend a membership without refund of any member that breaches the terms and conditions of membership. Any membership cancelled by the Club will result in consecutive years of membership being ceased.
  • The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Club membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits).

11. Club Member Conduct

  • While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or SSN or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. The Club takes a strong stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality. Club members whose conduct in the Club's opinion breaches this clause may face penalties, including suspension or cancellation of membership without refund.

12. Changes to Club membership Terms and Conditions

  • The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary (and subject to applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law) vary the terms and conditions of Club membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website or email. Except for any rights they may have under applicable State or Territory Laws and the Australian Consumer Law, members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club membership.

13. General Venue Rules

  • Club members must adhere to all rules, policy and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club member including providing their bags for inspection and allowing physical security checks. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on match day.

14. Membership Cards & Tickets

  • Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club's Membership Services Centre on 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours and the Club will then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision of a police report or statutory declaration detailing the theft.

14.1 Membership Cards

  • a. Delivery – Your Club membership card is personalised. Membership cards will be mailed out as soon as practicable after your application has been processed. b. Lost Cards – If you lose your membership card you will be required to present a signed original statutory declaration to the Club. A membership card replacement fee of $25 will be charged. Replacement membership cards will be mailed out to you and cannot be issued on game day. c. Forgotten Cards – the Club can provide you with a replacement ticket on the day for a cost of $10. If you have lost your membership card you will be required to pay the $25 replacement fee.

14.2 Print your own tickets (also known as the TicketFast system)

  • This service is only available for members with a reserved seat at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena. Log into your MyMagpies Account to print tickets. Once you have printed your ticket for a game your barcode on your membership card will be made inactive for this game. It will not be possible to reactivate your card for this game. If you lose your tickets you have the option of re-printing tickets through your MyMagpies Account. This service is only available for Collingwood home games at the Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena. TicketFast will close one full business day before the game. Actual closing times and dates will be announced once the 2018 SSN fixture has been released. Tickets are not available for mobile scanning.

14.3 Seat forwarding

  • If you are a season ticket reserved seat holder, you can make your seat(s) available to family and/or friends to use on any game day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can receive daily paper tickets via email to gain access to Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena on game day. You can forward your seat to a family member or friend through your MyMagpies Account up until one business day prior to the match.

15. Members' Privacy

  • The Club respects your privacy. All personal information we collect about you and individuals whose information you provide to the Club, such as family members, will be used and disclosed by the Club and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with our Privacy Policy which you agree when you sign up as a Club member. You agree you are authorised to provide the information you give us about others. This may include for promotional and direct marketing purposes and other uses and disclosures as specified in our Privacy Policy which is available at www.magpiesnetball.com.au/privacy or at the front desk of the Holden Centre or by calling 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours. Your personal information is kept securely and confidentially. Although you may choose to only provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice will affect the type and quality of service we provide to you and it may also result in delays. Our Privacy Policy explains how to request access to or correction of the personal information the Club holds about you and how to make a privacy complaint and how the Club handles complaints.

16. Telephone and Internet Renewals

  • Members may purchase and renew their Club membership over the telephone or online. By purchasing or renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of Club membership (as amended by the Club from time to time).

17. Home games

  • Home games not played at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena: You acknowledge that the Club may, in its sole discretion, play any game scheduled by the SSN to be played at Hisense Arena or Margaret Court Arena, at another venue including a venue which is the home ground of another SSN Club. The Club may, at its absolute discretion, provide some compensation for any benefits foregone in these circumstances.

18. Reserved Seats and changes

18.1 Seating preferences

  • Seating areas at Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Area are subject to change and are made upon consultation with the venue. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating preference will be able to be accommodated.

18.2 Group Seat Requests

  • If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be submitted together by email, post or delivered personally to the Club. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together.

18.3 Request processing

  • All change/upgrade and new seat requests are to be submitted via MyMagpies Account and are subject to availability. The Club is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible. New seat requests are processed in order of date received. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at the time of processing. Members wishing to apply for new seats can do so via their MyMagpies Account. Simply login using your Member ID and Password and select the seat you want from the Interactive Seat Map. If your preferred seat is not available you will need to wait until Monday 5 December, 2017 at which time you will be able to review any unallocated seat/s through the Interactive Seating Map.

19. 2018 Bring a friend for FREE offer

  • Upon the release of the 2018 SSN Fixture, the Club will confirm selected games in which members can bring a friend for free. Full terms of the offer are listed below:
  • The free ticket will be a general admission ticket. General admission entry is subject to capacity.
  • The ticket cannot be upgraded to a reserved seat or access any of the Club reserved seating areas.
  • Members will receive one redemption ticket with their membership pack. Lost/misplaced tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Members can only use their free ticket for one of the nominated games.

20. Membership promotions

  • The Club has the ability to introduce new promotions and offers to members. Any member who has purchased prior to these offers will not be able to request a refund for membership or have the promotion apply to their membership.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts having jurisdiction there.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law (including without limitation the Australian Consumer Law) the Club shall in no circumstance be liable to you for any direct or consequential losses or any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising out of your purchase of or participation in Club membership, including without limitation from the loss or suspension of your membership card or your ability to attend all or any Collingwood games (including due to a change of scheduled venue) or enter a venue where a Collingwood game is occurring, except to the extent the loss is caused by our breach of these terms and conditions, negligence or wilful default.

21. General disclaimers

EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General

  • The following conditions are both of sale (including any resale or subsequent assignment) and conditions of attendance at the event. You agree to these terms and conditions by registering for and attending a Collingwood Football Club (CFC) event or an event sold by CFC on behalf of a third party. If you choose not to be bound or fail to abide by the terms and conditions, your attendance at the event may be prohibited. If you are booking on behalf of other attendees you should direct them to these terms and conditions.

2. Prices and payment

  • All prices are inclusive of GST. Payment in full is required at the time of booking (or unless otherwise specified). Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided. Payment can be made online, in person or by phone with a credit card (or unless otherwise specified).

3. Ticket limits

  • Limits of the number of tickets that can be purchased for any event may apply at the discretion of CFC. If you exceed the ticket limit, any or all of your orders and tickets may be cancelled without notice by CFC in its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

4. Conditions of entry

  • It may be a condition of entry to individual events that a search of the person and / or their possessions will be required at the time of the entry to the venue. Cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event live or delayed. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way.

5. Program

  • CFC reserves the right to alter the event program as advertised at any time without prior notice, including the date, venue, seating arrangements, audience capacity, entertainment and activities. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard. If the date, time or venue of an event is rescheduled or changed, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date, venue and time.

6. Event postponement

  • Should an event be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, all tickets purchased for the original date will be transferred to the rescheduled date.

7. Event cancellations

  • Should an event be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, CFC will endeavour to process a full refund within 30 days of such circumstances becoming known.

8.Substitutions

  • Should an attendee be unable to attend the event, they may send someone else in their place. Bookings will remain under the original booking name.

9. Refunds

  • If you cannot attend a rescheduled event and you contact us for a refund in a timely manner by emailing us at membership@collingwoodfc.com.au and provide the original ticket(s) and proof of purchase, CFC will refund to you the ticket price inclusive of booking fees but exclusive of delivery or mail fees and/or any processing surcharge.
  • If you are entitled to a refund and CFC has not already mailed your ticket, then CFC will also refund you any delivery fee associated with the purchase of such ticket(s).
  • CFC reserves the right to not refund, exchange or substitute tickets after purchase nor replace tickets that may have been stolen, lost or destroyed, other than as set out in these terms and conditions, except as required by law.
  • Please treat your tickets like cash as we cannot replace lost tickets.
  • If a refund is made, CFC may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has been charged.
  • All refunds will only be made back to the credit card of the individual, organisation or institution used in the original transaction from which payment was received.
  • Notwithstanding these terms and conditions, if you use a “disposable" or “temporary" credit card (such as those purchased over the counter at supermarkets) for your purchase, we are not able to make any refund to you unless
    • (a) you can provide full details of the credit card;
    • (b) the credit card remains valid; and
    • (c) you can produce the online purchase receipt.

10. Lost tickets

  • CFC reserves the right to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets. CFC reserves the right not to replace tickets where seating is not allocated (general admission tickets).

11. Image Release

  • In registering or booking for and attending CFC events, attendees grant permission to CFC, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs/recordings containing the attendee's image/likeness.
  • These images may be used for any purpose by or for CFC including promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or education. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from CFC in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Attendees release, discharge, and hold harmless, CFC and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video.
  • If an attendee is under the age of 18, the attendee's parent or guardian agrees that CFC has the parent or guardian's permission to use any photograph, video or recording of the attendee for the purpose and on the bases explained above.
  • Should an attendee or an attendee's parent or guardian not agree to the above image release, they must advise CFC in writing by emailing membership@collingwoodfc.com.au

12. Event attendance

  • The right of admission to an event may be subject to the venue's terms of admission.
  • CFC does not accept any responsibility for the security of or safety of the personal belongings of either you or those who attend the event with you.
  • Attendance is voluntary and at the individual's own risk and except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, CFC (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the event.

13. Behaviour

  • You must be fully responsible for your own conduct and for the conduct of those who attend the event with you.
  • CFC reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to a CFC event, or eject any person from a CFC event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by CFC staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.

14. Resale and/or use of tickets

  • Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of CFC, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer.
  • If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

15. Scalping warning

  • The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.

16. Privacy and communications

  • CFC handles the personal information it collects in connection with events payments, bookings and attendance in accordance with its privacy policy which can be found at: www.collingwoodfc.com.au/privacy or is available by calling 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 430) during business hours. Our privacy policy explains how we use and disclose the personal information (including any overseas disclosures), how to request access to or correct your personal information and how to make a privacy complaint and how we handle complaints. CFC will use and disclose your personal information to process payments, deal with enquiries and disputes, manage events and it may also send you information about CFC events, promotions and specials and on behalf of selected third parties. The terms of the Privacy Policy form part of these terms and conditions.
  • You confirm that you have the consent of all the individuals whose personal information you provide to CFC and you have let them know about CFC's privacy policy.
  • If you do not wish to receive updates from CFC or selected third parties, you can call 1300 MAGPIE (1300 62 47 43) during business hours or email membership@collingwoodfc.com.auto opt out.

17. No waiver by CFC

  • Any waiver by CFC, when exercising any right, power or provision of these terms and conditions, does not mean a waiver of any other right, power or provisions or the same one in the future. Also any delay in exercising a right, power or provision should not be taken to be a waiver by CFC.

18. Severance

  • If any or any part of these terms or conditions are found to be unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

19. Laws of Victoria

  • These terms and conditions and any claims, actions or disputes are governed by the laws of Victoria.

COMPETITION

1. This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (“these terms”) into the Magpies Netball Membership competition (“Promotion”), information on how to enter the Promotion, and information about the prizes which form part of these terms. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms. By entering this Promotion, the entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by and abide by these terms.

2. The promoter is Collingwood Football Club Limited (ABN 89 006 211 196) of Holden Centre, Cnr Olympic Blvd and Batman Ave, Melbourne VIC 3000 ("Promoter”).

3. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter may vary the terms of, or terminate, this Promotion at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person. The Promoter will not award any prize if the Promotion is terminated for whatever reason. If the Promotion is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion.

DEFINITIONS

4. In these terms, the following meanings apply in addition to terms which are defined elsewhere in these terms unless the contrary intention appears:

LIMITS OF ENTRY

10. 15. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, sold or redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the Prize in accordance with the terms of the original draw, in the event of a Winner being unable to satisfy these terms or forfeiting their right to a Prize.

GENERAL

18. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, including as a result of the Promoter's negligence, in connection with this Promotion or the redemption or use of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. - The fourth & final Promotional Period will be open from 12:30 PM AEDT on Sunday 18 March 2018, and will continue until 3:00 PM AEDT Sunday 18 March 2018, or extended to the close of the Collingwood membership marquee present at Olympic Park Oval for the Round 7 AFLW match between Collingwood Football Club & the Adelaide Football Club ("Promotion Period D").

ELIGIBILITY

COMPETITION

  1. This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (“these terms”) into the “Win a week in London” competition (“Promotion”) and information on how to enter the Promotion and about the prizes which form part of these terms. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms. By entering this Promotion, the entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by and abide by these terms.
  2. The promoter is Precinct Travel, on behalf of Collingwood Football Club Limited (ABN 89 006 211 196) of Holden Centre, Cnr Olympic Blvd and Batman Ave, Melbourne VIC 3000 ("Promoter”).
  3. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter may vary the terms of, or terminate, this Promotion at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person. The Promoter will not award any prize if the Promotion is terminated for whatever reason. If the Promotion is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion.

    DEFINITIONS
  • In these terms, the following meanings apply in addition to terms which are defined elsewhere in these terms unless the contrary intention appears:

    Entrant” means a person who is eligible to participate in the promotion in accordance with clause 6 of these terms. "Prize" has the meaning in clause 12. “Winner” means the Entrant whose name is randomly drawn from all Eligible Entrants.

    PROMOTION PERIOD
  1. The Promotion will be open from 12.00pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time ("AEDT") on Monday 15th January 2018 and will continue until 11.59pm on Saturday 31 March 2018 ("Promotion Period").

    ELIGIBILITY
  2. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over ("Eligible Entrants"), excluding employees of the Promoter, and other agencies, firms or companies (and their immediate families), who are directly associated with this Promotion. All entrants are subject to clause 14.

    HOW TO PARTICIPATE
  3. To participate in the Promotion and be eligible to win, an Entrant must:
    1. Sign up to the Precinct Travel mailing list within the Promotion Period
    2. Provide their details to go into the draw
  4. The Prize Winner will be randomly drawn at the Holden Centre, Cnr Olympic Boulevard and Batman Avenue, Melbourne, Victoria at 12.00pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 10th April 2018, subject to variation at the discretion of the Promoter. The Prize will be awarded to the first Eligible Entrant drawn. If the entry is invalid, the next valid entry drawn will win the prize.
  5. The result of the Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

    LIMITS OF ENTRY
  6. If an Entrant is the Winner, they must consent to and licence the recording and use of their name, character, voice, image and likeness by or on behalf of the Promoter for the purposes of any promotional, marketing or publicity activities by the Promoter. Any such use by, or on behalf of, the Promoter may occur without acknowledgment, remuneration or compensation to the Winner.
  7. Limit of one entry per person and may only register as an individual.

    PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS
  8. The Winner will receive return economy flights to London for 2 people, flying Emirates, in addition to 7 nights accommodation at a hotel to be determined by the Promotor. Flights will be departing Melbourne Australia unless mutually agreed by the Promoter and the Winner.
  9. The Prize is provided by the Promoter, and is only valid for travel between 1st September 2018 and 30th November 2018. The Promotor will endeavour to provide the preferred flights of the Winner, however the final date and time of the flights will be at the sole discretion of the Promotor.
  10. The Prize does not include any transfers, entertainment, food, beverages or other items (unless expressly stated).
  11. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, sold or redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Any prize with a retail value is in Australian dollars and is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier correct at the time of printing. The Prize is subject to availability. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize. If for any reason, the Prize Winner cannot experience any component of the Prize as confirmed in writing, then that part of the Prize will be forfeited at the Promoter's discretion and the Promoter shall not be liable for any component forfeited.
  12. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs associated with the use of any Prize. The Winner is responsible for all costs associated with the use of the Prizes including any expenses and costs for food or beverages or insurances.

    NOTIFICATION OF PRIZE WINNER AND REDRAWS
  13. The Winner will be notified by Tuesday 17 April 2018 at 12.00pm (AEDT) by the Promoter by phone. If a Winner does not respond within three days, another eligible entrant will be randomly drawn as the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the Prize in accordance with the terms of the original draw, in the event of a winner being unable to satisfy these terms or forfeiting their right to a Prize.
  14. If there are any unclaimed prizes, a prize redraw will be conducted on Tuesday 24 April 2018 at 12.00pm (AEDT) at the same place as the original draw. If a winner is drawn they will be contacted by phone.
  15. The winner will be notified in writing and their name published at precincttravel.collingwoodfc.com.au

    GENERAL
  16. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, including as a result of the Promoter's negligence, in connection with this Promotion or the redemption or use of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 1. General

  • The following are conditions of sale (including any resale or subsequent assignment) and conditions of attendance at Collingwood Football Club & Collingwood Magpies Netball Club Group Experience Events (sec. 1.3). You agree to these terms and conditions by purchasing a Collingwood Football Club (CFC) Group Experience. If you choose not to be bound or fail to abide by these terms and conditions, your attendance at the Event may be prohibited. If you are booking on behalf of other attendees you should direct them to these terms and conditions.
  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, an “Event” is the term used to describe tickets for a specific Collingwood FC or Magpies Netball match and any included Group Activity (sec. 5.1) that have been purchased as part of a CFC Group Experience.
  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “CFC” refers to both the Collingwood Football Club & the Collingwood Magpies Netball Club.

2. Prices and payment

  • All prices are inclusive of GST. Payment in full is required at the time of booking (unless otherwise specified). Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided if requested by CFC. Payment can be made over the phone or in person with a credit card (unless otherwise specified).
  • All purchases will be handled by a CFC Group Experience consultant. Availability of tickets and Group Activities will be communicated by a CFC Group Experience consultant upon enquiry.

3. Ticket limits

  • Limits of the number of tickets that can be purchased for any Event may apply at the discretion of CFC. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

4. Group Tickets

  • “Group Tickets” describe an amount of 10 or more tickets to a CFC regular season match in 2018 that are purchased directly through CFC’s Group Experience offers. These tickets will be discounted by the percentage specified on 2018 CFC Group Experience webpages, unless otherwise specified.
  • If an altered discount is provided for one purchase, CFC is under no obligation to provide a similar discount for future purchases.
  • Group Tickets are only available for specific home & away matches, which are specified on the 2018 Group Experience webpages. Tickets to matches not listed on the webpages may be available upon enquiry.
  • Group Tickets are not available for Finals (unless otherwise specified).

5. Group Activities

  • A “Group Activity” is any complimentary activity or offering included with a Group Ticket purchase.
  • To be eligible to receive a Group Activity with a Group Ticket purchase, the purchaser must purchase an amount of tickets greater or equal to the minimum purchase specified by the Group Experience webpages.
  • Access to any one Group Activity is subject to availability. Once a Group Activity has been booked for a specific CFC match it becomes unavailable for any future bookings for said CFC match, unless otherwise specified by CFC.
  • Group Activities will be allocated based on the date of purchase; i.e. first-come, first-serve. At the discretion of CFC Group Activities may be reserved for an individual or organisation before payment has been made. If an agreement has been made between CFC and the individual or organisation to reserve a Group Activity, CFC will provide them with at least 5 business days’ notice before the Group Activity is released and subsequently available to other parties. This period may be extended at the discretion of CFC.
  • As Group Activities are a complimentary incentive, no further discounts and/or concessions will be offered to groups who cannot book a Group Activity due to lack of availability. The same Group Ticket discounts will still apply to these groups (unless otherwise specified).
  • Some Group Activities may require participants to sign a personal waiver. Persons who fail to sign the relevant waiver prior to the Group Activity commencing will not be permitted to participate. No refunds or compensation of any kind will be awarded to persons who cannot participate in a Group Activity in this circumstance.
  • CFC reserves the right to, at any time, amend the Group Activities on offer, including but not limited to the Group Activities themselves, the entitlements of each Group Activity, the relevant minimum ticket purchases to be eligible for each Group Activity, the number of people allowed to participate, and the number of available Group Activities for each CFC match.

6. Conditions of entry

  • It may be a condition of entry to individual Events that a search of the person and / or their possessions will be required at the time of the entry to the venue. Cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event live or delayed. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way.

7. Program

  • CFC reserves the right to alter the Event program as advertised at any time without prior notice including the venue and time of a Group Activity. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard.

8. Event postponement

  • Should an Event be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, all tickets purchased for the original date will be transferred to the rescheduled date.

9. Event cancellations

  • Should an Event be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, CFC will endeavour to process a full refund within 30 days of such circumstances becoming known.

10.Substitutions

  • Should an attendee be unable to attend the event they may send someone else in their place. Bookings will remain under the original booking name.

11. Refunds

  • A full refund will be provided if a cancellation request is received more than 28 days prior to the booked match.
  • A refund of the total paid amount minus a 10% deposit will be provided if a cancellation request is received within 28 and 14 days of the booked match.
  • From within 14 days of the booked match, and subject to Australian Consumer Law, once full payment is made Group Experiences are non-refundable.
  • See Section 12 for information on refunds relating to deposits.
  • If you have paid in full for a set amount of tickets, no refund will be provided for any unused or unsold tickets if a refund is requested within 28 days of the booked match, subject to the discretion of the Sales & Acquisitions Coordinator.
  • If you cannot attend a rescheduled Event and you contact us for a refund in a timely manner by emailing us at membership@collingwoodfc.com.au and provide the original ticket(s) and proof of purchase, CFC will refund to you the ticket price inclusive of booking fees but exclusive of delivery or mail fees and/or any processing surcharge.
  • If you are entitled to a refund and CFC has not already mailed your ticket, then CFC will also refund you any delivery fee associated with the purchase of such ticket(s).
  • CFC reserves the right to not refund, exchange or substitute tickets after purchase nor replace tickets that may have been stolen, lost or destroyed, other than as set out in these terms and conditions, except as required by law.
  • Please treat your tickets like cash as we cannot replace lost tickets.
  • If a refund is made, CFC may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has been charged.
  • All refunds will only be made back to the credit card of the individual, organisation or institution used in the original transaction from which payment was received.
  • Notwithstanding these terms and conditions, if you use a “disposable" or “temporary" credit card (such as those purchased over the counter at supermarkets) for your purchase, we are not able to make any refund to you unless
    • (a) you can provide full details of the credit card;
    • (b) the credit card remains valid; and
    • (c) you can produce the online purchase receipt.

12. Deposits

  • A deposit of 10% of the total booking cost may be paid to hold a booking until 14 days prior to the booked match.
  • This 10% deposit will be refunded if a cancellation request is received no less than 28 days prior to the booked match. If a cancellation is requested any time within 28 days of the booked match the 10% deposit will not be refunded due to the loss incurred by CFC through being unable to sell & promote the tickets that were on hold.
  • Full payment is due no less than 14 days prior to the booked match. Any tickets and/or Group Activities will be forfeited if the full payment is not made by this time, unless a prior arrangement has been made with the Sales & Acquisitions Coordinator.
  • All bookings paid in full 28 days or more prior to the booked match include a 10% deposit. This deposit will be handled as per 11.1, 11.2 & 11.3.
  • If a 10% deposit has been made for a Group Experience booking and subsequently the total number/price of tickets purchased is increased or decreased, the deposit will remain unchanged.

13. Lost tickets

  • CFC reserves the right to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets. CFC reserves the right not to replace tickets where seating is not allocated (general admission tickets).

14. Image Release

  • In registering or booking for and attending CFC Events, attendees grant permission to CFC, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs/recordings containing the attendee's image/likeness.
  • These images may be used for any purpose by or for CFC including promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or education. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from CFC in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Attendees release, discharge, and hold harmless, CFC and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video.
  • If an attendee is under the age of 18, the attendee's parent or guardian agrees that CFC has the parent or guardian's permission to use any photograph, video or recording of the attendee for the purpose and on the bases explained above.
  • Should an attendee or an attendee's parent or guardian not agree to the above image release, they must advise CFC in writing by emailing membership@collingwoodfc.com.au at least 5 business days prior to the Event.

15. Event attendance

  • The right of admission to an Event may be subject to the venue's terms of admission.
  • CFC does not accept any responsibility for the security of or safety of the personal belongings of either you or those who attend the event with you.
  • Attendance is voluntary and at the individual's own risk and except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, CFC (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the event.

16. Behaviour

  • You must be fully responsible for your own conduct and for the conduct of those who attend the event with you.
  • CFC reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to a CFC event, or eject any person from a CFC event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by CFC staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.

17. Resale and/or use of tickets

  • Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of CFC, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer.
  • If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

18. Scalping warning

  • The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.

19. Privacy and communications

  • Your privacy is important to us. All personal information we collect about you will be used and disclosed by the Club and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with our Privacy Policy which you agree to when you provide your personal information. This may include for promotional and direct marketing purposes and other uses and disclosures as specified in our Privacy Policy which is available at www.collingwoodfc.com.au/privacy or at the front desk of the Holden Centre or by calling 1300 MAGPIE (62 47 43). Your personal information is kept securely and confidentially. Although you may choose to only provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice will affect the type and quality of service we provide to you and it may also result in delays. Our Privacy Policy explains how to request access to or correction of the personal information the Club holds about you and how to make a privacy complaint.
  • You confirm that you have the consent of all the individuals whose personal information you provide to CFC and you have let them know about CFC's privacy policy.

20. No waiver by CFC

  • Any waiver by CFC, when exercising any right, power or provision of these terms and conditions, does not mean a waiver of any other right, power or provisions or the same one in the future. Also any delay in exercising a right, power or provision should not be taken to be a waiver by CFC.

21. Severance

  • If any or any part of these terms or conditions are found to be unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

22. Laws of Victoria

  • These terms and conditions and any claims, actions or disputes are governed by the laws of Victoria.

PROMOTION

1. This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (“these terms”) into the Collingwood Football Club – The Forever Member Promotion (“Promotion”) and information on how to enter the Promotion and about the prizes which form part of these terms. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms. By entering this Promotion, the entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by and abide by these terms.

2. The promoter is Collingwood Football Club Limited (ABN 89 006 211 196) of Holden Centre, Cnr Olympic Blvd and Batman Ave, Melbourne VIC 3000 ("Promoter”).

3. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter may vary the terms of, or terminate, this Promotion at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person. The Promoter will not award any prize if the Promotion is terminated for whatever reason. If the Promotion is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion.

DEFINITIONS
4. In these terms, the following meanings apply in addition to terms which are defined elsewhere in these terms unless the contrary intention appears:

Entrant” means a person who is eligible to participate in the Promotion in accordance with clauses 6 and 7 of these terms and whose name and contact details appear on the entry form.

"Prize" has the meaning in clause 14.

Winner” means the Entrant or each Entrant in a group, whose entry is judged as the winning Moment under clause 8.

PROMOTION PERIOD

5. The Promotion will be open from 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Time ("AEDT") on Thursday 18 October, 2017 and will continue until 12.00pm on Friday 16 February 2018 ("Promotion Period").

ELIGIBILITY

6. Entry is open to Australian residents.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

7. To participate in the Promotion and be eligible to win, an Entrant or a group of Entrants must:

a. Submit their Collingwood “Forever” Moment in writing to the Promoter during the Promotion Period by submitting their entry via collingwoodfc.com.au

8. The winning entry will be chosen at random by the Promoter from all entries submitted by the Entrants.

9. The result of the Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

LIMITS OF ENTRY

10. If an Entrant is a Winner, they consent to and licence the recording and use of their name, character, voice, image and likeness by or on behalf of the Promoter for the purposes of any promotional, marketing or publicity activities by the Promoter. Any such use by, or on behalf of, the Promoter may occur without acknowledgment, remuneration or compensation to the Winner.

11. Limit of one entry per person or group.

12. Each Entrant represents and warrants that: (i) their Moment, is the sole and original creation of the Entrant and has not been copied in whole or in part from any other work; and (ii) the Moment, does not violate or infringe any intellectual property rights of any party. Each Entrant must indemnify and hold harmless, the Promoter from any claims arising due to a breach of these warranties.

13. Each Entrant grants to the Promoter and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns and licensees, a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence and right to use, copy, reproduce, publicise, broadcast, display, publish, disclose, modify, adapt and/or otherwise use the Moment without remuneration or compensation to the Entrant, and consents to the Promoter exercising this licence and right without attributing the Entrant as the author of the Moment or in any other manner that would otherwise infringe any moral rights they may have in the Moment.

PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

14. The Winner will receive a General Admission home and away membership (or equivalent) until the Club is notified of the Members death (the prize cannot be transferred after death), an invitation onto the ground at the first home game of 2018 to watch the team warm up and run through the banner, an invitation to the President’s Function at the first home game as a guest of Collingwood Football Club, access to the change rooms post-game at the first home game of 2018. The total value of the Prize is $3,000 (inc. GST).

15. The Prize is provided by the Promoter.

16. The Prize does includes travel, accommodation, food or beverages (as expressly stated) should the Winner reside Interstate only plus one guest.

17. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, sold or redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Any prize with a retail value is in Australian dollars and is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier correct at the time of printing. The Prize is subject to availability. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any Prize or if any Prize is damaged or lost in transit.

18. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs associated with the use of any Prize. The Winner is responsible for all costs outside those listed in clause 17.

NOTIFICATION OF PRIZE WINNERS

19. The Winner will be notified by Monday 19 February 2018 by the Promoter by phone.

20. The Winner will be notified in writing and their name published at membership.collingwoodfc.com.au

GENERAL

21. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, including as a result of the Promoter's negligence, in connection with this Promotion or the redemption or use of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning the Prizes.

22. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Promotion should be directed to the Promoter.

23. The Promoter shall not be liable for any Prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves the Promoter's control.

24. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period or for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times. ("Design") that is compliant with the artwork specifications, templates and guidelines (which can be requested from the Promoter) to the Promoter during the Promotion Period by sending their

Design in canvas, drawing or electronic form to the Collingwood Indigenous Programs Manager,

Debby Lovett at the Promoter’s address set out in clause 2 or PO Box 165, Abbotsford VIC 3067; or debbyl@collingwoodfc.com.au; and

b. Complete the Promotion entry form that can be obtained by contacting the Collingwood

Indigenous Programs Manager, Debby Lovett on (03) 8412 0028 or

debbyl@collingwoodfc.com.au and return it to her as set out in clause 7a before the end of the

Promotion Period. If the entry is made by a group of Entrants, the name and contact details of each person in that group must be set out in the entry form and the group must specify on the entry form the name of the Entrant that will act as the group's nominee ("Nominee").

8. The winning Design will be chosen by a panel of qualified representatives of the Promoter who will choose the Design that best visually conveys how Australian Rules Football and the 2018 Indigenous

Round unite our communities and depicts the symbolism of the Magpie from all entries submitted by the

Entrants. The winning design may be used over some/all of Collingwood’s other teams.

9. The result of the Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

14. If the Winner is an individual, they will receive $2,000 in cash within 60 days of the end of the

Promotion Period and a framed and team signed 2018 Collingwood Indigenous Round Guernsey within

60 days of the 2018 AFL Indigenous Round. If the Winner is a group, the Prizes will be awarded to the group's Nominee who will determine how the Prizes are to be distributed among the members of the group. The total value of the Prize is $2,110 (inc. GST).

15. The Prize is provided by the Promoter.

16. The Prize does not include any travel, accommodation, food or beverages (unless expressly stated).

By checking this box, I understand that this is an agreement between the Collingwood Football Club Limited (“CFC”) and myself or those under my care, and will be deemed to have commenced on acceptance by CFC of my application to register myself or on behalf of my son or daughter or the child in respect of whom I am the legal guardian, to participate in the Activities ("participant").

In consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of registration for the Activities on the day and date confirmed by CFC, I acknowledge and agree with the following:

1. In this agreement

  • “CFC” means the Collingwood Football Club Limited and where the context provides, includes its directors, employees and agents.
  • “Claim” means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, cost or expense however arising including but not limited to negligence.
  • “Activities” means any or all Activities which take place during Holden Centre tour
  • “Activation Space” includes the area outlined by CFC and any surrounding structures and playing surfaces.

2. Warning: I acknowledge that whilst the participant participates in Activities, exposure to certain risk may occur, these include but are not limited to the following,

  • serious injuries;
  • other participants may act dangerously or with lack of skill; and/or
  • property may be damaged, lost or destroyed.

I acknowledge that accidents can and often do happen during Activities, which may result in the participant being injured or killed, or my property being damaged. I acknowledge that any wet areas are not patrolled by lifeguards.

Guidelines for participation

I understand and warrant that I have explained to the participant that:

  • All participants are using the facilities at the venue where the Activities will occur must have agreed to this agreement before the participant will be allowed to participate in the Activities;
  • Any participants who have not agreed to this consent form will not be admitted and cannot participate in any of the Activities;
  • Supervisors and accompanying adults need to ensure that their group of participants maintains order and follows the rules during all Activities;

I agree to:

  • In the case of injury, inform the coordinator of the Activity in session immediately;
  • Make known to the Activities coordinator that the participant has any existing medical conditions or injuries so that CFC can look after the participant properly in the case of an emergency;
  • Not allow the participant to participate in the Activities if they are affected by medication/ drugs;
  • Clearly inform the Activities coordinator if the participant has any food allergies, or other condition that requires medication, and ensure that the participant has the required medication with them at all times for the duration of the Activities;
  • Make the participant aware of and ensure they will abide by these terms and any other guidelines relating to the Activities; and
  • For the participant's safety, explain to them that they are not to touch or use any unauthorised equipment – unless directed to as part of the Activities.

Fitness to Participate:

  • I warrant and declare that the participant is medically and physically fit and able to participate in the Activities;
  • I will immediately notify the Activities coordinator of any change to the participant’s medical condition, fitness or ability to participate after the date of this consent form;
  • I understand that if CFC is not provided with all relevant and necessary information about the participant’s health and capacity to participate in the Activities, they will not be able to fully appreciate the risk of harm or injury to the participant in providing instruction and in allowing the participant to participate in the Activities;
  • I understand that CFC will continue to rely upon this consent form as evidence of the participant’s fitness and ability to participate unless notified otherwise;
  • I consent to and licence any recording and use of the participant’s name, character, voice, image and likeness by or on behalf of CFC for the purposes of the participant's participation in a story about their experience on a Collingwood Football Club Media show, which may be broadcast on the Collingwood Football Club website, social media accounts and digital channels, and for any promotional, marketing or publicity activities by CFC. I acknowledge that any such use by CFC may be without acknowledgment, remuneration or compensation to me or the participant. I understand that any such use by CFC will be in accordance with CFC's Privacy Policy, which is available on CFC's website.

Participant Behaviour

I understand that in the event of the participant’s misbehaviour or behaviour posing a danger to himself/herself or others during the Activities.

I acknowledge that CFC respects the participant's privacy. All personal information CFC collects about the participant, or from the participant, will be used and disclosed by CFC and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with CFC's Privacy Policy which I agree to when I provide this personal information. CFC's Privacy Policy explains how to request access to or correction of the personal information CFC holds about me or the participant and how to make a privacy complaint. If the information CFC requests, or parental/guardian consent, is not provided, I am aware that this choice will affect the type and quality of service they provide to me and it may also result in delays. By agreeing to these terms, I consent to the personal information of the participant being provided and handled according to this privacy statement.

  1. Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The promoter reserves the right to amend the promotion and these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason subject to regulatory approval (if required).   3. Promotion commences 5 June 2017 and ends 5pm AEST on 22 September 2017 (“Promotional Period”). No late entries will be accepted.
  4. Eligible individuals will be sent by post a book of 10 x $5 tickets (“the Tickets”).
  5. Eligible individuals can purchase as many Tickets as they want for themselves or friends and family members (or alternatively they can sell them to friends or family members). They must complete the information on all of the stubs that come with each Ticket that is purchased by including the details of the person who is receiving the Ticket in question and hand over to them the Ticket (“Entry Ticket”). Details of person who is receiving the Ticket must include; full name, full address and phone number to be eligible. Once they have done that, to enter the promotion they must return the Ticket stubs together with the correct total amount of money paid for the Tickets purchased in the form of cash, a cheque or credit card payment to the specified address during the Promotional Period. Eligible individuals can obtain further books of Tickets or details by calling 1300 62 47 43 or email membership@collingwoodfc.com.au.
  6. Once the Ticket stubs are received and the payment processed by the Promoter, the Tickets will be activated and each person named on the stub will receive one (1) entry in the draw (and be deemed an “entrant”), provided the payment is processed before the end of the Promotional Period .
  7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected cheques or Ticket stubs, or Entry Tickets, or incomplete, indecipherable or incorrect cheques or any shortfall in the total payment received. If this occurs, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion not award the relevant number of entries in the draw or may refuse a particular entry.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, Ticket stubs, cheques, credit card, Entry Tickets and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  9. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
  10. In order to claim a prize, the entrant must return their Entry Ticket that has the same unique number as the Ticket stub drawn, and their personal details of the person claiming the prize must match the details on the winning stub.
  11. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  12. The weekly draws will take place at the Promoter’s office at 3.00pm AEST on the following dates: Tuesday 13 June 2017, Monday 19 June 2017, Monday 26 June 2017, Monday 3 July 2017, Monday 10 July 2017, Monday 17 July 2017, Monday 24 July 2017, Monday 31 July 2017, Monday 7 August 2017 & Monday 14 August 2017 and the winning ticket number will be published on membership.collingwoodfc.com.au within seven (7) days of each draw. The major draw will take place at the Promoter’s office at 3pm AEDT on Monday 9 October 2017. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
  13. Winners of the weekly draws will be notified by phone within two (2) business days of the relevant draw and confirmed in writing within seven (7) business days. Winners of the major prizes will be published at membership.collingwoodfc.com.au and in The Herald Sun on Friday 20 October 2017.
  14. The Promoter’s decision in relation to each draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. Prizes in the major draw will be awarded in descending value as follows:
    FIRST PRIZE: Return Emirates Business Class flights for two (2) people to an Emirates European destination to the value of up to $15,000. Prize must be taken together and must be booked through Pie In The Sky Travel before 31 October 2017 and travel must be completed by 31 March 2018. Prize will be awarded in the form of a travel credit to the value of $15,000 to the winner. Once booked, travel cannot be changed. Flights cannot be used separately. All required travel insurance, visas and passport costs are at the winner’s expense and are not included in the prize value. Airport taxes are not included. Any other ancillary costs, fees, taxes and charges (including accommodation, meals and travel at the destination) associated with taking the prize are not included.
    SECOND PRIZE: Exclusive behind the scenes experience for four (4) people at a Collingwood MCG home game in 2018 including a pre-match address from an assistant coach and access to the Collingwood change rooms to watch the boys warm up, have your photo taken on the MCG turf and watch the game from level 2 reserved seats. Game to be advised upon release of 2018 AFL Official Fixture. Game selection is strictly at the discretion of the Collingwood Football Club and cannot be changed. Valued at $4,800.
    THIRD PRIZE: Entry for two (2) people to Collingwood’s premier match day event, the President’s Club in 2018. Enjoy a unique experience providing dining, outstanding entertainment and unprecedented networking opportunities. Game to be advised upon release of 2018 AFL Official Fixture. Game selection is strictly at the discretion of the Collingwood Football Club and cannot be changed. Valued at $990.
    FOURTH PRIZE: 80cm Curio suitcase from American Tourister. Colour subject to availability and cannot be changed. Valued at $339.
    FIFTH PRIZE: Olsen Hotel voucher valued at $250. Offer includes one night accommodation in a deluxe suite with breakfast for two. Valid until 2 February 2018. Not available during peak periods or special events. Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  16. The first valid entry drawn in each weekly draw will win a Village Cinemas Gold Class double pass. These vouchers can be used at Village Gold Class Cinemas. Standard terms and conditions of use apply. Valued at $840.
  17. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
  18. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
  19. If a winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
  20. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  21. Each Ticket includes a promo code that provides general admission access to a 2017 Collingwood Football Club home game at the MCG. The promo code will be activated once payment for the Ticket is received. Once the promo code has been activated, the eligible individual can download one match ticket for each Ticket they have submitted payment for by logging into their MyMagpies account. They can then choose if they give this match ticket to the Ticket purchaser or keep it for themselves.
  22. General Admission access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and you are encouraged to reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Attendees will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability.
  23. The match tickets are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction and conditions of entry. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
  24. Match tickets available are strictly limited to the first 5,000 redeemed only.
  25. Total prize pool value is $22,219.
  26. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  27. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 10 January 2018 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified by mail within two (2) business days of the draw and their names (for prizes over $250) will be published in The Herald Sun on 17 January 2018.
  28. Entrants consent to the Promoter using and publishing their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  29. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  30. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, or under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
  31. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if an AFL match is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) the prize.
  32. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and his/her companion where relevant) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. In the event a winner or winner’s companion is under the age of 18, a nominated parent/legal guardian of such person will be required to sign the legal documentation required under this clause on their behalf.
  33. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") about you in order to conduct and manage the promotion, to verify your identity and eligibility to enter, to contact winners and publish their names and to comply with its legal obligations as the Promoter and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. You agree that the Collingwood Football Club ('Club') can use and disclose to selected third parties your personal information for further promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. If you do not provide accurate information or your information is not complete or you do not consent to your personal information being used for these purposes, you may not be able to participate in the promotion.
