MCC Deal FAQs

The only members impacted by this change are those who currently hold an MCG away seat.

Collingwood Membership staff will contact each impacted Away Game Reserved Seat Members directly to discuss seating options for Season 2024 and beyond.

These calls will be conducted in order of total years of service/tenure combined with prior attendance.

If you hold a reserved seat for MCG away games in 2023, you are an affected Member.

Following the announcement of the deal, Membership staff will begin calling affected members until all those impacted have been contacted.

To ensure this can be done in a timely manner, you may received a call anywhere between 9am and 7pm (AEST) on weeknights, and between 10am and 4pm (AEST) on weekends.

If you miss this call, the Membership staff will send you an email straight away confirming the call and any required action from you. You can then contact the Membership team directly at your earliest convenience to finalise your 2024 away seating preferences.

Please be advised that seats will not be held for members after three attempts to make contact have been made.

The following membership types are affected:

- 'Legends: Ultimate'

- 'Legends: MCG'

- 'Legends: Gold' (not 'Gold GA')

- 'Legends: Choice' (not 'Choice GA')

For MCG away games against Richmond and Hawthorn, Collingwood Members with MCG Away seat access will be required to redeem a $0 ticket via Ticketek.

This applies to all Members across Level 1, 2 & 4, not just our Level 2 Members.

Our '1892' Members will have priority access to redeem their ticket(s), followed by our Legends Members.

If we play a non-tenant club at the MCG, all of the Ponsford Stand will be available to us - including Member facilities on Level 2 like the Legends Lounge and Social Club Bar.

In these cases for Season 2024, Members will retain their allocated MCG away seat.*

As with other away game redemptions, our '1892' Members will have a priority window to redeem their $0 ticket(s).

This redemption process will be run at a distinct time to ensure the process is smooth, and not affected by on-sales for other Ticketek events.

Generally speaking, the only non-tenant club that we play away games against at the MCG is Geelong.

*Please note - the Club initially communicated that Members would need to redeem tickets via Ticketek for games where we play a non-tenant club. To make things as convenient as possible for Members, a decision was later made to keep Members in their allocated seats so that there is minimal change throughout the season.
