Home & Away Season Ticketing - FAQ

A 'fully-ticketed' game is one where all patrons must hold a set-seat, i.e. there is no general admission (GA) access.

Any Home & Away season match may be classed as fully-ticketed at the discretion of the home team, stadium, and AFL. This decision is based primarily on ticket sales and member attendance forecasts, and is made to ensure patron safety when large crowds are expected.

If a game is classed as fully-ticketed, the Club will communicate this to Members with GA access at the earliest possible time.

When this happens, Members with GA access to the game in question must upgrade to a discount set-seat if they wish to attend.

Our Anzac Day match is the only default fully-ticketed game, but any game could be classed this way.

As general advice, the Club strongly recommends that Members with GA access upgrade to a discounted set-seat for any blockbuster game, even if that game has not yet been classed as fully-ticketed.

General admission access is always subject to capacity.

The best place to find your barcode number(s) is via your MyMagpies account here.

If other Members are linked to your MyMagpies account, you can also find their barcode number(s) by using the 'switch accounts' function.

Your 12-digit membership barcode is also printed on your membership card.

1. Locate your membership barcode number(s). These are printed on your 2024 membership card and available via your MyMagpies account here.

2. Head to Ticketek (MCG) or Ticketmaster (Marvel Stadium) and locate the game in question.

3. Select the Club Member option (not AFL Member, not MCC)

3. When prompted, enter your 12-digit barcode number(s). Be sure to enter one on each line.

4. Select your desired seating, then select the $0 Member ticket option. Note that each barcode entered may have its own selection area.
- You may also be able to select non-Member guest tickets during this stage.

5. Follow the prompts to finalise your booking. Your ticket(s) will then be available via your Ticketek/Ticketmaster account, not your Mobile Membership.

Prices vary depending on the location of seats you are purchasing, and the game in question.

Broadly speaking, upgraded tickets range from $10 to $50.

All pricing categories are subject to capacity.

Members with general admission (GA) access do not need to upgrade for games that have not been classed as fully-ticketed.

At this stage, the only fully-ticketed match is our Round 7 Anzac Day away game vs. Essendon.

That said, the Club strongly recommends upgrading GA access to a discounted reserved seat for games against large Victorian clubs, as these games tend to become fully-ticketed due to strong ticket sales.

For games that are not fully-ticketed, Members with GA access can simply use their Mobile Membership to access matches without pre-booking. For a guide to using Mobile Memberships, click here. Season ticket Members can also use their physical cards to access non-fully-ticketed games.

The Club will always endeavour to notify our Members when a match is likely to be classed as fully-ticketed, but please not it is not always possible to do so given the nature of ticket sales.

Our 1892 concierges will be in touch with 1892 Members to facilitate ticketing across our three Marvel Stadium matches, and also our Round 19 MCG away game vs. Hawthorn.

No action is required via our online Member pre-sales for 1892 Members.

As of Season 2024, there is no more season-long allocated seating at Marvel Stadium.

Legends & Standard Members now have access to redeem a $0 ticket to our two home games and one away game at Marvel Stadium via Ticketmaster.

Theses Members can use their 12-digit barcode number(s) to redeem their Marvel Stadium ticket(s) during the Member pre-sale windows noted on this page.

Click here to view dates and timings for reserved bay redemption windows.

This relates to Members with Level 2/2a or Level 1 reserved bay access for MCG home games.

Ticketing for Members who hold our Interstate package is separate from this Member Pre-Sale.

Eligible Members will receive direct communication from the Club roughly 3-6 weeks prior to the match in question.

If you have not received an email from us regarding an upcoming game outside of Victoria, please contact the Club.
