The FAQ sheet addresses what we know about the impact of COVID-19 on the 2021 season, and why the club is proceeding with 2021 renewals in November.
Even if you opted for a partial or maximal refund for the 2020 season, your years of service will continue in 2021.
If your membership package includes reserved access or reserved seats, these benefits will also be held and offered back to you in 2021.
We know that 2020 has been a difficult year for many, so we've made sure that there are no adverse effects for members who sought financial assistance from the club.
Member caps are only available to members in 2020 who are set up with the automatic renewal plan.
Usually, membership caps are available for collection at all games played at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, as well as open training sessions.
Due to the COVID-19 situation cap collection is not possible at the moment.
An email regarding 2020 member caps was sent to eligible members in August. In short, if you have not yet had your cap(s) mailed out you can send an email to the membership team (membership@collingwoodfc.com.au) with the following details:

A number of scenarios are being prepared to address the evolving COVID-19 situation. At the time of writing this FAQ sheet we are confident that spectators will be in the stands for Round 1 of the 2021 season, and we are hopeful of a return to full capacity during the season.
The club will continue to monitor the situation along with Netball Australia and relevant authorities. If there is an impact on game-access membership entitlements, we will once again offer options for members to claim back funds paid towards game-access that they have not received.
All members will be offered their existing membership package back in 2021, even if they opted for a partial or maximal refund for the 2020 season.
If you held reserved seats as part of your package, those same seats will be offered back in 2021.
Because refunds were available to members within the 2020 season, no discounts will be applied to memberships in 2021 for reasons relating to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2020 season.
Centering our compensation process on refunds rather than discounts and/or credit has helped to contain the financial impact of the COVID-19 situation in 2020. This in turn has allowed us to implement a number of improvements to the membership program, which we know you’ll love!
Offering your membership renewal now allows you to maximise the option to pay your membership across a number of months on the payment plan and also ensures that you will be sent your 2021 membership pack as soon as possible.
By renewing now, members are also ensuring that they are best-placed to take advantage of their 2021 memberships in the lead up to Round 1.

Your membership barcode is a 12-digit number used for match access that will be available to view via your MyMagpies account closer to the season.

Once approved, we will issue a complimentary membership that is the same as the one purchased.
Any child below the age of 15 as at January 1 2021 is eligible for junior pricing.
Any person who holds a valid full time student, pensioner or veteran's affairs card is eligible for concession pricing.
Memberships will not be discounted when the season starts.

You must be a Legends Bay, Level 1 Legends Bay or Reserved Bay member to be able to purchase guest passes within your reserved seating area.
Guest passes can be purchased closer to the season, i.e. they are not available for the 2021 season just yet.
The availability of reserved seats is extremely limited at this time.
Please note that no seat changes can be facilitated until the reserved seat change windows. The dates of these windows will be confirmed to members beforehand, and they are expected to be in mid- or late-February.
After those windows, existing members are welcome to contact the club (via email or web-chat) to explore seat-changes, but please note that most requests cannot be facilitated at this time due to the limited availability of reserved seats.

Seat changes can be explored before renewing memberships, but further seats tend to become available after the reserved seat cut-off date.
The reserved seats cut-off date is usually scheduled for a month after the renewal date (TBC), and is when the seats of unrenewed members are released.
A new membership card will be sent out within two weeks of your seat allocation being updated. You will receive a physical card in the mail and an electronic version prior to any upcoming match you have access too.
